Obviously most of this is stuff that I can’t confirm. However, just as on the monetary front, on the military front over the past several days there have been rumblings of possible major developments—massing of armor near Kursk, for example, which means near Kharkiv.
"What are they preparing us for?" Things are starting to add up. If I was Zhou and I was not demented I would be wondering what they were preparing for ME, the "big guy." There is of course the laptop from hell rearing its ugly LCD. And then he just got his booster (and was proud that he was able to roll up his own sleeve). Was it really saline this time? Even the trivial things about the resident's circumstances are now making people wonder:
I can. The lunatics are running the asylum. They seem to think that the world order did not tectonically shift on 24 Feb 2022. I need to do more research on what is going on in Pakistan. Evidently PM Khan is in a bit of a tight spot. Could be the US has been working on regime change there earlier than we thought?
I haven’t read any full-blown biographies, but Stephen F. Cohen’s book, “War with Russia?: From Putin & Ukraine to Trump & Russiagate” has a concise essay on misconceptions about Putin. This is in the prologue, titled “The Putin Spectre — Who He Is Not,” which can be read for free in its entirety via Amazon’s sample of the kindle version.
Haven’t read the rest of the book. But i have alot of respect for Cohen, who died just before the covid scare. He was one of a handful of sane Russian specialists who pushed back against the prevailing “Russia, Russia, Russia!” narrative. The book is unique in that he puts the Russiagate hoax and our Ukraine folly both in the context of our post-cold-war Russia policy failure.
I still don't know much about the politics in Ukraine but I wonder if the "Far Right" Azov Battalions are really "Far Left" as the original Nazi's were.
Some time back the reliably team blue magazine The New Republic had an article saying that engineers seemed to somehow be uniquely susceptible to the message of radical islam. They thought it was the case because engineers were, at one point, overly represented among bombers. The insular jackasses never even thought to consider that maybe engineers just get off their asses and try to solve problems rather than engaging in successive rounds of virtue signalling like arts and crafts majors. And, yes, I'm an engineer.

Enquiring minds want to know and I imagine we shall find out. But it still boggles the mind to think about a President Harris.
The SPR release, what a pathetic and hideous joke: https://www.zerohedge.com/political/oil-slides-biden-admin-mulls-huge-spr-release-again
Which non Western country we are friendly with, is the US not threatening?
I can’t believe the US is threatening India and Pakistan at the same time.
Probably next the Biden Administration is going to start threatening countries over how they treat their lgbt citizens. No better time to do so.

Can anyone please recommend a good biography of Putin?

Thank you ! Much appreciated. Is the rest of the book worth a read?

Great. Looking forward to reading at least the intro. Have learned quite alot over at Saker and Reminisce the Future. Your name looks very familiar
It's clearly written and conceived. It may not be the book you'll keep going to for reference, but it's worth the time to read it.
Thank you. I have found that my knowledge of Russian history and Putin is sadly lacking.

From the reports coming out of Mariupol they are a seriously bad lot. Horrible atrocities
