FWIW, this place is my GO TO Substack read. Whenever a new post comes out I’m on it. Read all the comments too. Feel privileged to have found it though, for the life of me I can’t remember how I got here. Damn 4 years of college football finally having effect on memory 🤣Excellent analysis, etc. Keep up the good work

Mark, I offer a standing ovation to T. Paine Redux's complimentary remarks about you. IMHO, the unceasing dedication, Herculean effort and incisive clarity you bring to the defining issues of our times is without peer. One can only image the pressure you must feel to soldier forward to achieve your high publishing standards. Like T. Paine Redux, I too have forgotten how I found your work. Over the many months, from my readership experience, you have expertly honed your focus on strategic and global issues that existentially threaten our liberty and way of life. A full measure of my appreciation and heartfelt gratitude for all that you have accomplished and of the priceless service you provide to us readers. Have you considered adding additional authors to lighten the burden of this voluntary effort?

At least they are debating and discussing civilly. Something is going on though. Today on the radio someone requested a song because he was at home isolating having come down with covid for the 3rd time this year and we're only 8 months in!

Scary. My daughter has psoriasis which, I believe makes her immune-compromised. She’s had 2 shots too. Fingers crossed and ivermectin/ hydroxychloroquine ready

FWIW, France has dumped the vax pass. Finally. The border situation is laughable, as on return to France earlier this summer, the granite-faced, “not amused” police des frontières merely stamped the passport, waving anyone and everyone through…

Thank you for posting this. It is refreshing to see different ideas being discussed and analyzed….. the way science really works best. Our trust in the official narrative was long ago destroyed.

This article from Dr. Maline also hit my inbox today, doesn't seem like there is much left in the way of trials for crimes against humanity. https://rwmalonemd.substack.com/p/smoking-gun-usg-free-speech-big-tech?utm_source=substack&utm_medium=email

As Gato Malo notes, you could have a virus become less virulent (less lethal) but more transmissible (infectious). Suppose a virus is half as virulent but twice as transmissible. Yes, the virus evolved to be less virulent as we expect, but the rate of deaths is the same as before.

How about a variant that is half as virulent but four times as transmissible? Yay virus! But for a while, you're going to have twice the rate of deaths in people whose immune systems do not recognize the new variant.

Unfortunately, people who have been vaccinated against the "Wuhan" strain have immune systems trained to see only the old spike, not a new spike. Their immune systems can see and respond only to an old arm, not to the head or body, of any coronavirus.

People who have been infected and have recovered from the "Wuhan" (or Delta or Omicron or Beelzebub) strain have immune systems trained to recognize the arm, head, and body of the virus. So even though the virus swaps in a new arm for the old arm, the immune system is likely to recognize the old head and body and react in time to prevent disease.

So there's that.

One more problem could be if a variant emerges that happens to be very virulent (lethal) and transmissible. Because a viral swarm is rolling the dice constantly, in a susceptible population of humans. And viruses are not... polite. We think they evolve to become less virulent from baseline because (caution: anthropomorpic) they want to survive indefinitely. They want to live forever, just like us. Sure. But until then, they roll the dice by way of replication with errors. They try every combination of arm, head, body.

Vaccinated and immunocompromised (but I repeat myself) people are like a very large table covered in green felt. And that's why you're not supposed to vaccinate into the middle of an epidemic.

Well put. The Scotland data has been out and around for a while, as while some of the other UK data. It's very disturbing. The debate with Vanden Bossche seems to be more about when a critical mass is reached (how many injections in how many people) than about scientific principles. Obviously, there are a lot of variables involved, so certainty is difficult, but anyone would be a fool not to recognize warning signs.

No doubt Vanden Bossche is very familiar with all these considerations. He started as a veterinarian vaccinologist, which is a very big field. As I said, I believe Malone is simply offering a more nuanced version, perhaps based on what you wrote re "lots of immunocompromised people". It seems Malone doesn't believe we've reached the point that predictions of imminent catastrophe are warranted. If we stop the crazed injecting we could be OK. But ...

Right, that seems to be the glitch, imo - the vax'd/boosted do not seem to be protected from bad outcomes. From what I've been able to gather, they represent the bulk of hospitalizations & deaths, whether from covid or side effects.

I don't think Vanden Bossche's theory is meritless, but might be tempted to argue abt the end result (if I were more than a speculating plebe). I don't think a new deadly C19 variant is the worry, but rather the fact that the millions/billions of vax'd/boosted are so severely immunocompromised & vulnerable to weird or rare ailments that have never been an issue to general populations in the past. The vax induced AIDS type of fall out? Hope that makes sense. Or better, somebody tell me I'm full of it.

I don't think you're full of it. Vanden Bossche is concentrating on this virus and its variants, but the damage caused by the spike protein to the entire organism is more far ranging.
