The attribution of Khobar Towers to "Saudi Hezbollah" has long seemed suspicious to me. A little known but important backstory in this affair is that Comey and Mueller, working together, were critical to the attribution to Saudi Hezbollah, rather than the seemingly obvious AlQaeda. You said " Clinton yielded to Deep State pressure to indicate that the US held Iran responsible for the bombing". Are your sure about that?

My understanding is that Clinton admin resisted that attribution and that it came in early days of Bush admin. While DOJ nominations were waiting for Senate confirmation, Mueller, as Acting DAG, re-assigned Khobar case from DC (which had rejected Iran attribution) to EDVA where Comey was located. Comey then led effort to indict Saudi Hezbollah, indicting them in summer 2001. One can't help but wonder how events might have unfolded if Comey and Mueller had spent the same amount of energy in 2001 on investigating AlQaeda, instead of the questionable Saudi Hezbollah.

I also can't help but wonder whether there isn't a connection between the Comey- Mueller hookup re Khobar Towers and Comey's tactics in early 2017. The re-assignment of Khobar Towers from DC to EDVA depended on powers of an Acting DAG during early stages of an administration. Comey's operation to institutionalize Crossfire Hurricane by making it public was authorized by Acting DAG Dana Boente, after Comey had succeeded in getting Sessions to recuse himself. Was Comey re-applying the playbook that Mueller had used re Khobar Towers?

Iran’s policy of war on the Jews is in full swing. They are doing the best they can and killing lots of people. Israel must decide to either win this thing or surrender. Waiting around for Joe Biden, and the UN, and the media to give the green light is a tragedy waiting to happen.

Very good post and observations. The method of repeating a narrative endlessly has been imbued with magical properties by the MSM (our secular priests) in the conceit that they still control the "national conversation" and can define the truth. That in itself is a falsehood. And the U.S. government press secretaries have become the primary guardians of the "Holy of Holies" - the truths meant to be known only to the Deep State.

The things is, at certain points these manufactured realities must collide with the real realities (such as in Ukraine). When there is no one allowed to propagate a vision of the "real reality" there is no telling when that real reality might be made manifest to the surprise of the plebes. For example, if Poland bombs St. Petersburg, Warsaw might become a heap of ashes in short order. And the powers that be will say "wow, we never saw THAT coming."

Likewise, if Israel attacks Iranian nuclear sites, it might discover that Iran has prepared for such and can very quickly enrich its uranium and equip its own missiles with nuclear warheads, thus enabling Israel's total destruction in very short order. Sure the Iranian policy has been a Fatwah to proscribe the use of nuclear weapons but when things get existential for Iran that can be changed in a hurry. Who thinks they haven't war-gamed all the possibilities out, including the most extreme possibilities. Scott Ritter thinks so:

If the government of Israel places any value on its own continued existence or on millions of lives throughout the ME, it should de-escalate at this point. I have a hopeful personality and I am struggling to be hopeful. Sad to say there is no MAD anymore, only mad. Rational insanity doesn't really work.

“And the U.S. government press secretaries have become the primary guardians of the "Holy of Holies.” Too true, as perfectly demonstrated by Mat Miller’s (State Dept Spox) contemptuous reply to the Greyzone reporter’s question on, basically, Does the US support genocide? - a policy question if there ever was one! Angrily, Miller retorted that if the reporter had a “policy question,” he would be happy to answer it, but if he merely wanted to give a speech, he could find other venues in DC! Perhaps Mr Miller should follow his own advice and go pontificate elsewhere…

No more foreign interventions. Enough. Mr. Asher's headline says US taxpayers should "strike back" at Iran. "Strike back"? For what? When did Iran drop bombs on the US or place troops on US soil? Answer: Never. Asher's "proof" is something he claims happened in Iraq-not Iran--12 to 21 years ago when US (totally uninterested in its own soil and borders) placed US military uninvited onto Iraq soil, where Asher says, "numerous Iran-directed attacks against U.S. forces in Iraq between 2003 and 2012 that killed and wounded thousands." To stop US genocide, US must be broken up into at least 3 separate countries. Like the "partition" US plans for Russia. PS. Asher's rationale equates to: 5 thugs break into a house to steal things. The homeowner's uncle arrives and shoots dead 3 of the 5 thugs, 2 thugs escape.

20 years later the two thugs who escaped say they're owed "blood" retribution, say they must "hit back" and kill the homeowner's uncle, kill all the uncle's relatives, burn down all their houses, and steal all their money in the bank.

There has been de-humanization all around just as there always seems to be as a prelude to war and during war. Not that circumstances EVER make that right.

Probably was Al Queda, with the Saudis implicating Iran due to internal politics.

I’m glad you are highlighting that insane focus on revenge and retribution. Probably the most startling thing about Christ’s preaching was His emphasis on forgiveness. That vengefulness was once not central to the “american” character. It’s monstrously ugly and alien to the “honor” culture that I’m familiar with.

The comments to the WSJ Asher article are very discouraging, but...very predictable. It looks like 90% would hit Iran hard...tomorrow.

And if we do...

Then what?

Yes, magic, madness, gaslighting, lies...and ... all out war.

Is second or third order of thinking really so hard?

Yeah. Isn’t it so profoundly depressing when you see those comments? All the “finish the job! Our greatest ally! Self defense! Never again! Children of light” — when what it’s about is killing children. Repeat, killing children. This is industrial-strength moloch shit. Those people will trap the whirlwind. May God have mercy on them.
