That's what Jacobins and Bolsheviks do: destroy. The only consolation is that most revolutions eat their own children.

These “elites” are totally ignorant of history (and much else) - the Russian Revolution was 2 stages - Kerensky led the initial October 1917 revolt, only to have it snatched by Lenin. If the Davis crowd is Kerensky, then who is Lenin in their plan?

Luongos piece is excellent - among his standout thoughts: " So, today this indictment of Trump is at once, Phildickian, Kafkaesque, Clausewitzian and Hitlerian.

Phildickian because it feels like we live in some alternate America.

Kafkaesque because Trump is being indicted for a crime we can barely define.

Hitlerian because its clearly tyrannical to shut down political opponents

And Clausewitzian because the indictment isn’t about politics but a much broader war."

"Phildickean" is an adjective I think I can use!

Thank you for that. I really enjoyed setting that point up today. In fact, the lines about Clausewitz was my original opener and I let it percolate all morning.

Everybody who likes to quote Sun Tzu and Machiavelli should go back and bone up on Clausewitz. We are living in his world, for sure.

If so, this will be a greater scandal than the “sang contaminé” scandal of the 80’s…and if Macron lied to his country, how many others, including those in Brussells who pushed all manner of petty tyranny on us, are just waiting to be exposed? The MP is Jean Lasalle, from Pau, and is known as a straight shooter and honest man…he has a very strong accent which does come across in the video. After him, le déluge?

Exactly, Rascal. There's no longer any point in engaging at the national level anymore. One good point about the Covid hysteria was that it showed us very clearly who we can rely on in an emergency. I was amazed at how people I trusted ratted out, and people I rather looked down on, really came out as decent human beings.

No worries. Biden will win in 2024. 2020 and 2022 elections were fraudulent, but the pushback afterward wasn’t enough to make a difference. So how can he lose? Besides, he is the perfect president for the Masters of the Universe - senile, corrupt, pliable, a joke of a man. Hopefully we wake up, and soon.

Mass wake-up would be good, but then what?

After looking into the mechanisms and history of election fraud, and the way it's organized and protected... well... "vote harder" doesn't seem like the answer any more.

Masses never wake up. That's why they're the masses. It only needs a small but significant minority to wake up and do what needs to be done. Forget the masses.

Not vote harder, but prove fraud harder. We accepted results without a meaningful fight in one state after another. We lose the integrity of elections, what do we have?

The problem is, James, that even if we sort out voter fraud and get "our" guy in there, it won't change a damn thing.

Good point, Steghorn. That’s why I’ve avoided saying “Dems” and “Repubs.” Any solution lies with We the People, and some understanding of the stinking pile of garbage we are standing on.

Depending on which polls you trust, a majority of American voters already believe that the integrity of elections has been lost. The fraud has already been proven, from multiple angles, for those who care to look.

You think the courts would intervene? Why?

This is where we take the battle, to the courts and judges who duck the reams of evidence. Who’s lining your pockets? Who’s threatening your family? Did you not take an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States, much like any military personnel willing to sacrifice their life for the honor of their country? But we have to take the battle to the right people, and at the right time, if we want to gain ground.

They have lawsuits in front of them. That’s their job, to weigh the evidence and decide, not to dodge the evidence on some phony technicality.

I've criticised Trump as much as many others, but one thing for which we should be eternally grateful to him is that he really showed us the depth of pure evil out there. He really kicked over the wasps' nest.

Yes, the Constitution, as the law of the land, is a piece of paper. That’s the trouble with law. Those who willingly agree to obey it don’t really need it; those who need it won’t obey it. Too many of the latter these days.
