I think New Zealanders were pushed a long way left and woke by two terms of the Arden Labor Government, further than any other country, even Canada. The backlash reflects the extreme to which they were pushed. The trick to reducing resistance to the left/woke agenda is to make changes slowly but the globalists are running out of time so they are pushing hard everywhere. That will have inevitable consequences. I see the same in Australia where people were radicalised by the Covid restrictions (nothing like being held prisoner in your own country for two years to focus the mind!) but are now waking up to the corruption everywhere, especially the climate hoax.
