The administrative state has taken over the legislative and judicial functions to enforce ever increasing unConstitutional regulations. They are not authorized to do this. They need to be stopped. Disband and begin again. All Federal Agencies must be renewed. We are a federation of independent states. The federal government does not control the states. It is not more powerful, or shouldn’t be. Let’s restore that.

I am heartened but not surprised at all by the news. However, Steghorn21 has a point. Relying on DC to police itself, especially their corrupted courts, is a tough one. In terms of "Qui Bono" for Stan Woodward I think the political aspirations for Missouri AG will be picked up on by the mockingbird media soon enough. For now the basic principles and sheer intrigue of this should get Congress's attention.

I think one of the most telling things about the witch-hunt against Trump is the inability to find anything to hang him with. It has eluded the Lawfare crew, DOJ, FBI, and Democrat party for 8+ yrs. Is it possible he is one of the most law abiding people in the USA. The swamp didn't figure that was likely because their own evil blinds them.

So, they are breaking the law in order to get Trump, and this is a "big deal". I beg to differ. It's only a big deal if a judge has the cojones to take this on. Until then, it's nothing at all.

It's nothing at all, but then the government is nothing at all. Doesn't anybody in Washington realize that this is the death knell for our system of government? As this article states, the SC is belatedly taking up some issues, but it may be too little too late. Our people in charge do not inspire confidence, and when, not if, we hit the iceberg it will be every man for himself, as the government makes all the wrong moves and things go from bad to worse.

You're a pessimist after my own heart, Perle. Let's hope we're proven wrong!

"This is a big deal...........in their mind trashing the justice system is a small price to pay for excluding Trump." What is government if not the justice system, the Law. Ever since Obama the Leftists have been denigrating the Law and Country. Now they claim to have power. What power? All the respect that a pathetic figure like Biden commands? All the lawlessness tolerated by the big blue cities? 69% lack of confidence in our government?

So far they have gotten away with a lot of illegal stuff to get Trump, and nobody has been meaningfully punished.

Same with the J6 useful idiots.

Nothing happened to the tea party inquisitors.

Remi had a funny song on it:

I've given up on "meaningfully punished." Until things change, they control the system. The point I keep making is that they do not control me. Yea, they get compliance. Grudgingly. It was a troll who posted "you Trumpsters think you will be ok when everything falls apart." Yes.

If this were about anyone other than Trump, all hell would be breaking loose in DC politics and the news media. The Lawfare scoundrels and their backers have intimidated many who would defend Trump or even associate with him. It is refreshing to see Mr. Scharf, another Missourian, unafraid to take on the lawless DOJ and its adjuncts.

Trumps magic power is somehow he’s survived everything thrown at him, which causes the lawfare types to escalate even more.

Lots of others that have not survived the Left’s lawfare:

- Arthur Anderson (yes, an entity).

- Tom Delay - acquitted, but resigned.

- Alaska Senator

- General Flynn (bankrupted)

- Scooter Libby

- Jan 6 protesters

- Michigan Whitmer “kidnappers”

- Conrad Black (still ended up in prison, even though won at Scotus).

- Julian Assange (never convicted, but under arrest).

I would add to your list:

- Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell by the current prosecutor of Trump, Jack Smith (who on appeal to the SCOTUS was rebuked in a 9-0 decision).

- Paul Manafort

- Carter Page (survivor)

What’s surprised me is the Democrats defend their side, for example the Pakistani house of reps spy’s / it managers with top tier legal council.

Yet the gop lets its side sink or swim on their own. And it’s very expensive to defend yourself. The process is the punishment.

And even if the Dem / leftist gets defeated / retires, they get a sweetheart retirement deal. Like the mayor of Chicago. Or Fauci.

I’m still struggling with why the eGOP aids and abets election fraud. Seems insane and very short sighted. My guess is they think it stops the wrong type of people from being elected. Which worked against Trump in 2020.

I'm struggling with everything going on. "Seems insane and very short sighted. " I no longer have to read detailed analyses of the latest scandals. All the details are suppressed and I know for a fact they are up to their old tricks. I assume the worst and it is certainly worse than I can imagine. Why? Why? Doesn't anybody in Washington realize that when you lose trust it is not coming back. It is nice to have a government of, by and for the people, but a government that cannot command the respect and allegiance of its citizens is a government in name only. They need us more than we need them.
