Yes, knowing it’s 9-11 today, and maybe that’s why I’m fired up to write this. If today’s not a good day for you to deal with this, I get it – but come back when you can.
What are you doing to act with ‘civic disobedience’ to the increasing levels of oppression and group-think that is changing our country in real time – every institution is failing. How many of you in your professional setting would be allowed to make meaningful decisions BUT fail to consider the accurate, relevant and available data? Yet, our governments, businesses, schools and churches continue to ignore urgent, legitimate and real time data available beyond our borders, pretending to make adult decisions – don’t they understand that they all will forever be subject to the claim, “hey, you didn’t consider the MOST relevant of facts and data in making decisions that impacted EVERYTHING and EVERYONE for ALLTIME, so WHY THE F--- SHOULD WE?!?!?!!” Anyone here ever working in a legitimate organization knows of what I’m referencing – entities won’t survive by ignoring legitimate facts that relate to meaningful decisions, and yet they all are doing it now. AND WE LET THEM GET AWAY WITH IT.
So, what are we doing besides talking here like we have all the time in the world – some actual questions for you, the active participants in this BLOG:
1. What resources do you use to keep updated on all the current covid developments, such as the bogus claim this is a pandemic of the unvaxx’d, or the current stats out of UK/Israel/Sweden, or the corruption the CDC in allowing the teacher’s union to change national policy or in changing their definition of ‘vaccine’ in late August after A.Berenson highlighted the fallacy of the ‘vaccine’. One of the best most current websites tracking current updated info I’ve found is Liberty Counsel Action here – https://lcaction.org/vaccine -- any others you folks follow? share them, we need to empower each other. If you meet someone ‘new to the club,’ where do you send them for info that isn’t the narrative?
2. What are you doing? The buzz is to “practice civiv disobedience, don’t comply” – what does this mean? Practically, besides ‘not wearing masks’ in a store, what are YOU doing? Are there actions you are taking in your neighborhood, like joining protests or knocking on doors or meeting with state legislators? What is working, what is not? Share it, the most effective things you’ve done. Not suggesting I have the answers, but mea culpa, we can do more -- we have been persistent with our kids’ school in pushing for change in their covid guidance and in challenging our church in their weak ‘go along to get along’ approach; we had covid not too long ago and it took us out of the game, but moving forward, we will join/lead protests locally (starting with the tea party patriots), and from there remain a visible sign locally, hopefully with others in growing numbers; also we will need to approach our state level legislators – as with the elections reforms, that’s where the true power over this covid response rests, and where the real action is.
Like that scene from Guardians where the tiny ships touch wings to create an impregnable web against the behemoth, if we don’t all join hands in creating the line in the sand, it won’t work. Or, if you prefer: “Todd Beamer, was heard over an open line saying, “Are you guys ready? Let’s roll.” “

Doug, i agree that we all need to step up our civic action game and I'd love to see this and every other blog out there using at least some of their networking power to help people connect in a way that ensures effective action. The fact that you shared several links to groups taking action is a great start. We all have a part to play and sitting on the sidelines cheering just isn't an option anymore.
That said, just rushing off in a million directions doesn't accomplish anything. This is a time where i hope Trump and others aspiring to patriotic leadership will ramp up and multiply the rallies. Why rallies? First, it's highly motivating and gets people off their rears in a safe and fortifying environment. Second, it gives a mass of people direct contact w leaders who can help shape tactics and goals. Third, and most importantly, it is a priceless opportunity for people to connect locally and establish the kind of trust and relationships vital to any long term struggle against a powerful state. If, for example, i can invite a bunch of my neighbors to a rally, it elevates the relationship to a new level. We ain't just talking about sports or kids anymore. We come back from the rally motivated to do more and involve more people exponentially.
What are we doing here at this blog, you ask? Mark is doing an invaluable service by helping to educate and focus issues for us and allow robust discussion. Be patient w people. Americans are not easily roused (like hobbits) but when roused, watch out! The American revolution was fought w a relatively small percentage of the population but supported/ funded by many. Everyone has a place, not the same one. Each of us should prayerfully consider our place.
Frankly, I was incensed that my local SB was joining the defy Desantis bandwagon and I was already planning on attending their next meeting to express my contempt with regards to their practicing medicine without out a license in FL is against the law and they need to stop it. What's more outrageous is the local district had planned to (re)start mandatory masking on 9/13. If it was that important medically, why would they wait a week? It's not about protecting kids which we all know the real facts, but they don't care. Compulsory is their m.o. I still think I might go and ensure that they don't and won't like me as an outraged parent.

Simply said, DeSantis flatly stated that he was going to defund counties that didn't comply and them immediately surrender and back tracked on doing so. Specifically he lowered the bar to attempting to withhold board members salaries. That's a farce, they are paid by the counties, not the state... And it's not defunding the counties by a long shot.
The other side smelled the blood in the water.
Now we're off to the court races and playing the "stay" game of using judges to make the decisions for both sides.
My beef is, this is something DeSantis has a very bad habit of doing. Saying very direct and "tough" sounding things for the cameras with little intent or actual constitutional means to follow through on. It's VERY hypocritical.
I think we're all still missing the bigger picture on the abuse of overall unconstitutional administrative law and misuse of federal agencies to do instutional dirty work.
Simply said, here's another reason to toss out another unnecessary government agency (OSHA) and or defund them into a tiny backroom closet.
Realistically, the over all jab mandate is just another *symptomatic* result of the actual problem. A federal government fueled by funny money that they don't have to actually create revenue to fund.

I think it's even more than that. Part of it is the plan to terrorize the unwashed(unvaxed), but also to set them up for the potential wave of vaxxed deaths that may be following the trend in Israel and other vax early adopters. I would also suggest it's further tactics to incense the population in an effort to drive a backlash that would help them enact further draconian measures. Since the Lego insurrection ploy seems to be failing, they need to find other ways to label all those 2A supporters and find some way to relieve them of their constitutional rights.
All of this as well as just about everything that has been done the past 8 months is all orchestrated in and effort to destroy the USA. Bongino echoed that and came up with the perfect description. "Biden's 12 step plan to destroy America". Open borders, the deliberate Afghan disaster, damaging Nato, our relationships with our allies, spend way more money than we have to drive hyper-inflaction, destroy our energy independence, empower a well armed terrorist state, import people we don't know that might be terrorists for all we know, and so on are all part of some 12 step plan that Xioe's puppet masters are working through with a deliberate goal in mind. It's not going to get any better until we start punching back with the same fervor these bullies consistently doing to us.

It would have been nice if they attempted to explain the reasoning for the order. But then again, they ARE the media, so maybe I expected too much.
