There needs to be a truth commission on the issue of activities of our Intelligence and burocratic apparatus going back as far back as the Bush Administration. This was not their first rodeo, and most of the planners were careerists. The purge needs to be as broad as it is deep and consequences must be meted out. It's time we hold our own to the standards we preach abroad.

Thanks Mark.

Good quotes by LJ. “US moral authority has completely disappeared” - so has that of medical authority worldwide, government and otherwise. But then, what a fool I was to have had that trust in them in the first place, that has led to my current disillusionment. Have to always remember the spiritual worm in the human condition.

A favorite tactic is have another 5 eyes partner look at your domestic communications, to get around any ban / law on a domestic Intel organization looking at it directly.

Thanks for clarifying the British involvement. Seems there was also other foreign Intel agencies involved.

Brexit as mentioned in Mark’s previous post is a possible motive for the British. I think there is more. Same with the insane British support / propaganda for Ukraine.

The Russia Hoax does have the stink of British intelligence all over it. Steele, Wood, Halper, etc. I for one wouldn't be surprised if they were driving everything. Even today, with Ukraine, as they desperately try to remain relevant. I hear that there's a lot of anglophilia in DC. Is there anyone there that challenges this attitude? I've also heard that much of the (third) world *still* resents/hates Britain for their imperial activities. The British are the bad guys! Perhaps we need to reassess this "special relationship."

Another aspect that was not covered was the FBI fraud on the FISA court to obtain NSA surveillance on Carter Page. Under the “two hop rule” this enabled access, not just to Page’s communications, but to all those of the people who communicated with him and all who communicated with Page’s contacts. This likely encompassed the entire Trump campaign team.

The results of this surveillance were provided to a private sector contractor working for the Clinton campaign to conduct opposition research.

Proof of the fraud on the FISA Court exists in the form of a signed report issued by one of the judges.

And they are still abusing the FISA process to this day. Another inspector general report came out documenting some of the abuses. Without any meaningful consequences the abuses will continue and further embolden the cretins on their current totalitarian trajectory.
