I’m not an economist. Nevertheless, I was nonplussed yesterday to see Zerohedge adopting the CW in rather apodictic fashion with regard to the new job stats that came out this morning. The CW was that this would be big upbeat news. The reality is what probably should have been expected from this regime: Another Big Miss. Here’s ZH’s
Things are changing; a friend of mine who went hard left during the Obama years - leading to our estrangement - called me last Dec out of the blue with an admission: he’d seen the light & had voted for Trump. It was the insanity of the mask madness that finally drove him off the cliff + he said Trump was great for him economically. He said he’d bring it up to his group of friends - mostly L.A. artists (actors/musicians, etc) - & they would immediately start insulting him personally. His gf - worked in HR (unemployed now - she’s the wrong color) is also in the process of being red-pilled. He recently visited some relatives in FL & decided to rent a car & drive up the coast to a gig he had in Philly (he’s a musician in a high profile tribute band) & couldn’t believe the beauty & freedom of life in the red state world. Since the turn he’s looking to get out of L.A., buy some guns & relocate to Nashville.
I was heartened this week by a news item from my liberal town. Some jerk for Halloween had decked his yard out with multiple 'tombstones', each burying some supposed Covid myth--like vax is dangerous, HCQ is safe. The usual BS. There were like 9 of those. They all got defaced.
This reminds me of how economic predictions differed significantly between the Obama and Trump administrations. The Obama job number predictions were always upbeat and rosy - but then downgraded significantly a few days later when the actual numbers came in. Then with Trump the job numbers were always minimized but then upgraded a few days later. This happened so frequently it became a standing joke to anyone that was paying attention. These same 'economists' were playing the same game with 'W' when he was in office. The political rot has poisoned everything.
One good news story this morning, however, is that trust in the news media has sunk to 36%.

Think people have finally had enough.
"Biden thinks he "wins" with such actions. No, he *doesn't*."
Unless he acts mostly at ChiCom behest.

My wife tells me USA Today is balsing the regime's war on parents. Yes, this is all related.
"balsing" = blasting
