After all the reading and writing yesterday, some quick Twitter hits. I mean, who woulda thunk this? And yet it makes perfect sense, for anyone with a nodding acquaintance with Leftists: Remember all the scare talk about Trump? It wasn’t actually that long ago, seems like yesterday …
Our beloved "Former Intel Officials" have written another letter. This time they urge opposition by Congress to Elon's takeover bid because the Deep State needs Twitter so they can control public opinion.
According to CTH:
Citing the information control mechanisms they assembled, vis-a-vis the ability of social media networks to control and approve what is available for the public to read and review, the intelligence officials declare that any effort to break up the private side of the intel/tech partnership will only result in less ability of the intelligence apparatus to control public opinion.
Right. I saw, too, that there appears to be bipartisan support in Congress for clipping Big Tech's wings--very popular idea. One part is to ban using your platform to disadvantage competitors--lookin' at you, Google.
I've never understood how they figure the UBI will work. Is it "We pretend to work and they pretend to pay us"? Who is going to tell them that one has already been tried?
I saw a terrific graphic yesterday at The Saker that explained it. Azovstal is a huge place, and it's said that it was actually designed to survive a nuclear strike. It goes down 6 floors below ground and is heavily reinforced. Putin is said to have nixed plans to take it by storm, due to likely high casualties. They'll isolate and starve them out, is the word.
Have you tried to access the SCF lately? I keep getting a message that a sign in is required to bring up the site and when I click back I get this:
"Unauthorized
This server could not verify that you are authorized to access the document requested. Either you supplied the wrong credentials (e.g., bad password), or your browser doesn't understand how to supply the credentials required."
Oh, pardon me, I mean The Strategic Culture Foundation. I have always been a casual reader and it's not a go to site, and never registered in order to log-in at their site. It appears either the site administrators or somebody else is asking me to sign on. I found this quite odd.
Tried again today and it doesn't even connect, my search engine (DDG) just sits their looking like it's searching for the site. I suspect, at a minimum, DDG is not allowing me to connect. Censorship.
Mark, I’m going to file this In the folder marked “You Just Can’t Make This S**t
Up”!!
O/T but regarding the CTH Twitter take:

Love these guys.

It'd be one thing for Google to disadvantage Bing or Brave, direct competitors.
Quite another to pick winners and losers in every other field.
Don't forget Youtube v. say, Rumble.
Ghislaine. I like the "bite", since Ghislaine seems like a distinctly predatory person.
Ghislaine Maxwell is my guess

Any idea what might be going on?
Sorry ... SCF?

Ah. Just tried. Same result.

It's a lot of work, but we try to have some fun, too. Thanks.
Thanks. I find that the interweaving helps me, too.
