Possibly they were handpicked for their blatant narcissism and ineptitude; their job being solely to mess up so badly respective populations willingly accept a centralised global governance. In the UK there is literally no one competent in a leadership role or anywhere close. The only ones who show any promise and any real love for the country are kept pinned to the sidelines.
