If so, Barr is the slowest sleeper to wake up I've ever seen. Or, far more likely, he's no white hat.

"Wait and see" ... "the white hats are coming" ... "they got this." Ha!

I think that's all part of the plan to keep us normals from rising up, from fighting back. Don't worry, you don't really see what's going to happen, but just watch, just wait, like we're telling ya, the bad guys don't see it either - boy are they going to be surprised. Just sit back and relax, don't worry, the white hats got this. Right .... all fantasy, designed to deceive us another way.

I wish those fantasies were true. They're not. Don't let them deceive you, don't fall for that. Fight for the truth, fight for righteousness, seek God and His help. He is the only White Hat, He is what we need, He is all that we need.

Part of the absurdity of "the Ukrainians did it" is that the various pipelines that flow THROUGH Ukraine are still operating.

Meanwhile, for those who are properly alarmed that election fraud (which of course involves the ballot harvesting and much else in addition to any of the software mischief that is the subject of the quotes below) is getting ever more baked into the cake -and who realize that really nothing else matters between now and 2024 even a fraction as much- we are left to scream into the void since the uniparty (aka "permanent war and crisis party") have gotten so much of their natural opposition to fall into their thinly veiled trap of focusing almost completely on Donald Trump, all day every day. (Not at this site, but among the general population.)

For example, this: twitter.com/imyourmoderator/status/1669101263374413826

____________________________________________________________________________________

[begin quotes]

Halderman report (https://t.co/Z684EIW983): “There is no realistic mechanism to fully secure vote casting and tabulation computer systems from cyber threats.” "Many of the attacks I successfully implemented could be effectuated by malicious actors with very limited time and access to the machines, as little as mere minutes. This report documents my findings and conclusions."

...

Every sentence of this report should provoke only one reaction: The machines must be completely eliminated, immediately.

EVERYONE IN OFFICE KNOWS THIS IS HOW OUR ELECTIONS ARE RUN. EVERY SINGLE ONE.

The ICX’s vulnerabilities also make it possible for an attacker to compromise the auditability of the ballots, by altering both the QR codes and the human readable text. Such cheating could not be detected by an RLA or a hand count, since all records of the voter’s intent would be wrong."

[end quotes]

_________________________________________________________________________________

It's like shooting fish in a barrel for the uniparty. Destroy the republic and make it impossible for the voters to stop or punish them by removing them from power on election day, and ensure almost all the nation's attention is diverted far away from the operation simply by 1) manufacturing permanent war and other "crises," and 2) ruthlessly persecuting one single member of the opposition. Very few will pay sufficient and timely attention to this soon-to-be irreversible destruction of our election integrity infrastructure, opting instead to throw it all away in some vain attempt to spite the tyrants by unconditionally supporting and voting for a martyr, to the exclusion of any alternative, in an utterly hopeless and unwinnable electoral cause.

The tyrants laugh at how easily their emotion-driven opposition is led astray, and who can blame them?

Neocons had no fear whatsoever about Trump re: Russia because, among other things, congress officially neutered him on Russia matters. Nearly unanimous House and Senate took all Russia decisions away from Trump in August 2017 and reassigned them to the Senate....https://consortiumnews.com/2017/08/06/playing-politics-with-the-worlds-future/...As to the Ukraine war, Trump sells himself as being as eager as any neocon. Speaking on March 5, 2022 to 250 top GOP donors in New Orleans, “Former president Donald Trump mused Saturday to the GOP’s top donors that the United States should label its F-22 planes with the Chinese flag and “bomb the s–t out of Russia....And then we say, China did it, we didn’t do it, China did it, and then they start fighting with each other and we sit back and watch,” he said of labeling U.S. military planes with Chinese flags and bombing Russia which was met with laughter from the crowd of donors, according to a recording of the speech obtained by The Washington Post." Among other speakers was Pence, who "obliquely chastised Trump for his comments that Putin was “savvy” and “brilliant,” according to a copy of his remarks reviewed by The Post.

There is no room in this party for apologists for Putin,” Pence said.

Trump cited the comments Saturday night:

“Nobody has ever been tougher on Russia than me,” he retorted,

adding that those who have accused him of being a “Putin apologist” disqualify themselves from being “serious leaders of our country.”...He [Trump] said Biden should take a more belligerent tone. “At what point do we say we cannot take this massive crime against humanity? We can’t let it happen. We can’t let it continue to happen,” he said."...

Apparently desperate to be known as top warmonger against Russia, Trump presented himself to GOP donors as already having used US military against Russia in small battles:

He said the military, under his watch, had gotten in “skirmishes” with Russian troops and won."....3/6/2022, "Trump muses on war with Russia and praises Kim Jong Un," Washington Post, Josh Dawsey...

Good write-up Mark. Using the ole bureau analyst skills well.

Smell me some Judge Beryl Howell taint. Hope she gets hers. Hope Trump’s new lawyers hire Schaefer too.

Isn’t it still possible that the prosecutors hold other cards as they don’t yet have to show everything until trial? Thinking stuff like “intent” etc. thoughts?

Dershowitz is right.

Expand full comment

Dershowitz may be right, but why is he not stepping up and agreeing to handle his case? It’s one thing to issue statements about a clearly corrupt legal move and another to actually do something about it. Fear is everywhere in this country and soft men do nothing, but issue statements.

I believe that Deshowitz considers himself as an appellate attorney rather than a trial attorney - completely different skill set.

Thank you, Anne for that information and your point is well taken.

I thought similarly. Same for Turley. Maybe Dershowitz doesn’t want to take this on at his age. It’s a huge undertaking

Agree.....

Turley is younger and he weighs in on these issues all the time, but I suspect, in reality, the law school types are not inclined to put their careers on the line ahead of their constitutional beliefs and sense of justice.

It’s elder abuse, and if he was not a corrupt, mean spirited, liar it would be sad to see.

He's going to go down so that Big Mike has a clear path to the nomination. Everybody thinks that the "no debates" declaration by the DNC is to benefit Biden, but it's really to benefit Big Mike, who either can't debate or thinks it's beneath "her".

I don't see Michelle the Ungracious as having any path to the Oval office. As with Hillary, she just flips the 'I'm not into you' response from generic crowds, and the sentiment is mutual! Unvarnished disdain pours from her for the citizenry. She'll polarize the consultant class, but I don't think she cones close to a slam dunk. The options for the upper corrupt tier of the dem power structure are objectively awful = Zhou > VP Willy Brown's grrrl > Governor Brill Cream > Governor Timmy the car seller > Michelle the UnG > Hillary). We ought understand their most probable assessment is that they have to steal 2024. That makes working vote harvesting like soy bean kings and hard voter confirmation reform critical paths for our support.

However, I don't think the lefty legal warriors expect to win at trial: they know the damage they are doing through the process and are happy with it. They probably are still shocked at how well their fibs have worked.

Yup. Imagine the glee around the conference table over at Lawfare on Tuesday.

A-hole Lawyer #1: Well, we indicted Trump today.

A-hole Lawyer #2: Yup, Three quarters of the Country thinks he's committed 35 felonies and he's going to jail for 40 years!

A-hole Lawyer #3: But what about SCOTUS? They're sure to understand that our indictment is full of holes!

A-hole Lawyer #1: No problem. The election is next November. By the time Trump gets to SCOTUS Michelle will have been President for 8 years!

A-hole Lawyer #2: And Trump will be 90!

A-hole Lawyer #3: I sure hope you guys are right! What if the People figure out its another Hoax?

A-hole Lawyer #1: No problem #3! Its not like we don't have a few more tricks up our sleeve!

A-hole Lawyer #2: Yeah, #3, have you forgotten about the tactical nukes ploy? Or the China Blockade? Or World War III?

A-hole Lawyer #3: I'm sorry guys. You're right. It's true. We are *smarter* than they are. But...I just can't help thinking...what if things go wrong?

A-hole Lawyers #1 and #2 (in unison): That'll NEVER happen!

"C'est la lutte finale..." Do these arrogant imbeciles even realize the Pandora's Box they are opening? Trump's defense will annihilate them. They are pushing him to the wall knowing full well he has documented their many misdeeds. The charges themselves have little weight or legal validity, and even if the Courts, even the SC, are corrupt enough to decide against him, they will lose in the court of public opinion to the majority of citizens they hope to govern.

I just wanted to add a comment I read from someone whose name I do not remember.

They asked themselves if they could, but did not ask themselves if they should.

Perle: I think the comment you're thinking of is originally from Michael Crichton's book, "Jurassic Park." Don't have it in front of me right now, but the mathematician Ian Malcolm, having been mauled by a T. Rex, philosophizes to the effect that "the problem with scientists is they are driven by accomplishment. They want to see if they *can* do something. They never stop to ask if they *should* do it."

I am at this juncture certain the arrogant imbeciles know full well what they are upto. I am reminded of Angelo Codevilla's sense of revolutionary 'turns', how things progress ratchet-like towards an authority fracturing crisis. If the trials never start, or end without guilty verdicts, the precedents for lawfare abuses are nonetheless set, the strain on the Constitution pushed up a notch. If they get a guilty verdict, strain goes up two or three notches. A kind of "heads I win, tales you lose" situation. Destruction is easy (unimaginative bast*r#s). If ever there was an opportunity to venerate Mr Wauck on his MinH mission, it will be to confront each manufactured crisis with our wits intact, and not give in to the thoughtlessness of engaging in ratcheting up the turns of the cycle, but in looking for a political fix.

Not knowing what they were up to, I had assumed that they wanted total control over a prosperous and powerful nation. This they will never have. It would have required seeking reconciliation with all elements of the American people, and they have demonstrated that they hate us and will do nothing to further our welfare. They denigrate us, as they denigrate Trump and fail to recognize that he is a formidable opponent. They should at least fear him, and recognize that without the middle class America will never be prosperous or powerful. What they are doing now is creating a divide in American society that may well be permanent. We will never be serfs, although they might succeed in preventing the political fix you are looking for. A house divided....

It was good today to read something other than Andrew McCarthy and Bill Barr's drivel. Another lawyer, one who recently represented Trump, a Mr. Parletore, was on Laura Ingraham last evening and offered the same as Mr. Scharf does and mentions the alleged prosecutorial misconduct by Smith and his associate that will be challenged by Trump's team, e.g., the breach of attorney client privilege.

It almost seems like Smith had to make his move before he was ready to do so. Could he have been nudged by Garland to take the Biden bribe off the media radar screen - not that their allies in the MSM would cover anything disparaging a Biden.

Smith is carrying a lot of baggage, as well as his female associate. Both of them have been spanked for misconduct, most notably in the Governor Bob McDonnel (VA) case where he was inventing stuff. - like now. Who knew he resides in the Netherlands?

If Trump is acquitted at either the trial or appellate court, the prosecution may not appeal the decision because it is a criminal trial.
