Mark, your post is chock full of a dizzying amount of concerning information. Thanks for all the work you do to keep your readers informed. Re: the bombing of the maternity hospital — I thought the claim was dubious as soon as I heard it. Is it truly propaganda or have I gone full conspiracy theorist? That picture of the “injured patient” makes me think my initial reaction was accurate.
Anyone at this point who doesn't automatically disbelieve every single bit of info from these clowns and fraudsters has not been paying attention for the last 6 years.
I just watched Dr. John Campbell's video on the Pfizer docudrop. He's of course completely shocked, but the biggest item I see was the fact that they provided all the stats on deaths and adverse events, but redacted the number of folks that were in the study. To make it harder to compute the percentages? I'm guessing the number is probably smaller than folks think and would certainly inflame the public altogether.
Startpage is simply a front end querying Google. You're still getting big tech censored (Russia) results, they just dont have your IP or ability to retarget you. I also use Startpage, but search results are still Google.
Thank you Dave. I was not aware of the fine points of the engine. I have compared search results against other engines and saw significant differences. I suppose conformational bias was in play in my head as well. Again thanks, at least I know now
No, I listed these because they are actually independent, to the best of my knowledge. Bing is independent of Google, but both are censorious. I'm sure Yandex censors too, but for different reasons. Quality may vary.
https://www.startpage.com. I've used if for years and have yet to hear anything negative about it. It advertises itself as "private search. no tracking."
It's been so many years since I have used Google I have never done a cross-check between them and Startpage on the search results returned, so this is good to know and thanks for the info. Thanks also for the other suggestions. I wonder if TPTB will try to shut down Yandex outside of Russia somehow. Not sure how they would do it but wouldn't put it past them to try.
I have installed Brave twice and would still be using it but for one major flaw that impacted me: its mechanism for synching bookmarks across multiple machines did not work. If you do not use several different machines it may be a good solution for you. I liked its search but my experience is now two years in the past so I have no idea how it has held up in the new age of censorship.
Meanwhile on the Covid front, an article about just one state’s correction. Will others follow:
Massachusetts to Reduce ‘Significant Overcount’ of COVID-19 Deaths

Another important story on Dominion. Interesting how many “misinformation” conspiracy theories prove to be true.

Trump interview did not even survive 24 hours in YouTube, after 5 million views.

I think at this point we have to assume that the government is always lying to us
about everything, medical, financial and political. Attempting to winnow the truth from amongst all the chaff is a almost a full time job.
Thx Mark for making the task a little easier.
Still smh
You know it's bad when we trust our enemy's words more than our government.

Here's the Campbell vid: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7YOD9drZasM
I would also like to know of an alternative to DDG. It is simply inadequate. It is very difficult to find even noncontroversial information.
I have been using startpage dot com since it started as ixquick dot com. I am not displeased

That's what's so disappointing now about DDG.
A freedom of speech declaration: "You may not agree with what I say, but I will defend to your death my right to say it."
The banning of the Oliver Stone documentary, a far lefty, by YouTube mentioned in previous post is huge.
The censorship is becoming more and more apparent. I see huge over reach.
I’m still in a bit of shock that they even banned Trump, and that was a year ago.
Well, they're not done yet:
The "Nudge" act.

Thanks.
What’s a good alternative for DuckDuckGo?
I too noticed the quality of search results worsened.
Brave has a search engine.
qwant, metager, mojeek, yandex...
These engines are private but do they simply pass along the google results?
No, I listed these because they are actually independent, to the best of my knowledge. Bing is independent of Google, but both are censorious. I'm sure Yandex censors too, but for different reasons. Quality may vary.
You might also give Brave or Presearch a try.

Like DDG, they just repackage Google and Bing search indices. So, yeah, they don't track you, but they don't show unbiased search results either.

I'm willing to put up with a certain amount of BS, but I will draw a line.

As I understand it, most of these simply aggregate search results from other engines--garbage out, garbage out again?
