This is where we are in this crazy world. A bishop has been “deposed” by a non-Catholic “bishop” of Rome for allowing the Mass to be said in his diocese. Really. Hilary with one el gets is right:
Hilary White; Sacred Art @hilarityjane
As usual the Catholic world has failed to see the reality, and are wailing and lamenting something that ought to be a cause for rejoicing.
Another bishop has been freed from under the Bergoglian bootheel. #BishopStrickland
(How, at this late stage, is errybody STILL so dumb?)

Here’s what Cardinal Mueller said back in September—in part:
According to Catholic teaching, the Pope is in no way the Lord of the Church, but rather, as Christ's representative for the universal Church, the first servant of his Lord, who was to say to Simon Peter, who had just become the rock of the Church: "Get thee behind me (Italian indietro, the true indietrismo), for thou thinkest not what God wills, but what men will" (Mt 16:23).
The Pope has no authority from Christ to intimidate and bully good bishops modeled on Christ the Good Shepherd who, in accordance with the episcopal ideal of Vatican II, sanctify, teach and shepherd God's flock in Christ's name, simply because false friends denounce these good bishops to Francis as enemies of the Pope, while heretical and immoral bishops can do as they please or disturb Christ's Church every day with some other nonsense.
A bishop is a successor of the apostles, not a functionary of the bishop of Rome. My view is that Strickland should continue acting as bishop, regardless. Why would a real believer take orders from a non-believer acting, in any case, ultra vires?
History has shown that there are good Popes and not so good Popes. Unfortunately, we are inflicted with a not so good Pope who rather play politics by advocating the current trendy leftist social drivel, and aligning with Marxist thought and liberation theology, than humbly shepherding the Roman Catholic faithful. I pay no attention to anything theological or social this guy says. There are plenty of encyclicals, teachings, and writings from previous Popes as well as current faithful Bishops, Priests, and Theologians that warrant continued study and fidelity to the Faith.
The Pope and the Phanar are both going down the same route, unity with modern values.
It seems the formula adopted will be the early church synodal system.
The issue the Pope has is how to remove the vestiges of universal claims, hence the issue with the Latin mass.
The Catholics are wrestling with the synod on synodalism while the Phanar is trying to enforce primacy.
The obstacles of this process are traditional Catholics and the Moscow Orthodox sphere.
