Substack isn’t the easiest platform to figure out. I had originally set it to send all comments to my email inbox—not for moderation, which isn’t an option, but simply because that setting allowed me to efficiently become aware of and respond to all comments (if called for), no matter the thread that they appeared on. A few weeks ago that all stopped, and I couldn’t figure out how to fix it. The settings page was set to as I wanted, but didn’t seem to be working. I was reduced to scanning the comments after each post—a slow and uncertain process.
At times the internet would make anyone over age ten run screaming into the street!
I think they screwed settings up when they also introduced new formatting options--which also totally screwed up the "quoting" format.
Computers are meant to save time!
Another lie! Hubby & I long for a return to the days of paper. And landline house phones.
I'm quite sure the issues stem from either Putin or Trump. :)
