Mark: Watch the first 3:30 minutes of this video. Very telling how the Russian's learned of the SU-24's and Storm shadows. Insight beyond belief or rather dumb arse British photo ops.

Hmmm. the RedState "Dirty little secret" link is now a 404. I saw that story earlier today. It didn't seem THAT controversial.

Thanks for your always enlightening commentary, Mark. I had not realized Greece was that dependent on Russian oil at this point. That could indeed help explain their unexpected action. In the same neighborhood, we also now have conflict again in the Balkans (Serbia and Kosovo). The West is of course now involved in the mess, via NATO. As Serbia and Russia are also traditional allies, one wonders. For the biased media version:

Regarding vaccinations. This German study was linked on CFP today. Eye-opening as to what the vaccine and boosters have done to increase the mortality rate in Germany. I wouldn't anticipate such an in-depth analysis in the USA anytime soon. Unbelievable!

Very interesting. The real killer was the injections.

A surprise attack on Russia? Yeh, seems like a good plan, very little downside. That’s if you consider starting a global nuclear war a small thing! You just can’t make this stuff up. What kind of adjectives do you use to adequately describe these clowns?

When these idiots get together, Biden might actually be the smartest guy in the room, now that is a scary thought.

Two days ago Charles, so called King of England flew off to his holiday home in Transylvania - I kid you not. My point is Romania borders Ukraine, so why would the British government allow the biggest VIP there is to travel there if there is something stewing in NATO's wargaming? Unless UK is not in the loop....

I'd go there for the Vampire opportunities.

Transylvania--wow! I've always wanted to go to those Carpathian regions. Very beautiful. Transylvania itself is heavily Hungarian still.

No wonder Chuck turned down the heat in the Buckingham palace swimming pool (as my wife informs me)--to save money for the flight. What class did he fly? Is there a royal class?

I got it wrong - he's due to fly there in a couple of days. Kingy doesn't take scheduled flights usually - best guess military plane rather than private jet. The pool temp story is a puff piece to show he's frugal like his mother was and the story about this upcoming holiday is also likely to show he's 'really just like us' due to the ambivalence toward him here. Romania is beautiful and they have beautiful dog breeds - we have our 2nd Romanian rescue coming over next month.

I've maintained that NATO direct involvement is a matter of when, not if, and that Russia knows this and is the main reason they have been husbanding their capability to date- the real fight hasn't started

Clearly the Russians regard that as at least a possibility to be prepared for.

The Russians, like the ChiComs, have demonstrated strategic patience against the West. We on the other hand revel in “shock and awe.” The anti-west forces I’m afraid are prepared and preparing for for the long haul. This will not be over quickly, but is in fact something that will be with us for a long, long time to come.

I agree that the Russians and ChiComs are playing the long game. These are both long-standing cultures that have seen a conflict or two. And this disgusting war is going to play out for a while without nukes. Too much money to be made by all the usual aces, and what’s a few hundred thousand dead Ukrainians anyway?

I just don’t see what Nato has left, that has not already been provided to Ukraine.

And a lot of Western wonder weapons have limited production.
