MenchOsint @MenchOsint

2h

Russian Special Flight Squadron • Il-96-300 (RA-96019) back from New York.

Both planes also visited Washington Dulles Airport, stayed 24h and left for Moscow. The 2nd plane (RA-96018) is still in Washington.

Interesting...

Dunno. I just heard Ray McGovern claim that the US had sent 2 ships into the Black Sea. LJ said he hadn't heard that. I tried some searches and drew a blank. Using time parameters of a day, week, month the results were for years ago. My understanding has been that Turkey has not allowed warships to enter the Black Sea. LJ also says he has heard that Belousov directly told Austin that Russia will shoot down drones over the Black Sea.

Ray subsequently fessed up that he had misread a report from three years ago

I figured that would be the case. I searched for anything within the last month, week, day and the same stories popped up--but I checked the dates on the articles and they were from 2021.

The conversation between Belousov and Austin tallies with Putin giving the greenlight to Aerospaces Forces to deal with any provocative drones etc.

Perhaps Russia is having a few words as well about the US building ' the largest NATO airbase' in Romania

Sending warships into the Black Sea is/ was/ would be a really very bad, terrible idea.

How easy or difficult would it be for Turkey to actually leave NATO?

Historically they have "faced" East for centuries. It was only in the last century or so, they turned more to the West.

It seems to me, Turkey future prosperity and security lie in the East
