But America does still have a conscience, inchoate as it may be at times. Read about it, as documented by Gallup, here: Which Side Are You On?
Nevertheless, the gaslighting is intense. All stops out. It’s fairly pointless to try to document it here—it’s everywhere. Instead, for perspective and a possible bigger picture on Security State ops which use State and local thugs as proxies … I take a sharp left turn.
Here are some selections from Max Blumenthal’s recent posts. I’ve included an exchange in which Blumenthal’s thesis is challenged as well as his responses. Not many years ago—or at least it seems that way—I would have dismissed his thesis out of hand. Now? Blumenthal’s Security State thesis begins about halfway down his thread below:

As cops violently crack down on anti-genocide protesters demonized by Biden as antisemitic, the White House Press Correspondents Association honors Barak Ravid, until recently an Israeli army reservist and veteran of its Unit 8200 intelligence division

Most if not all of the so-called "Jewish students" whining about persecution on elite university campuses are, in fact, semi-professional, billionaire-backed Israel lobbyists weaponizing their identity to dismantle the First Amendment and defend genocide
Max Blumenthal @MaxBlumenthal
Northeastern University crushed an anti-genocide protest because someone was heard shouting, "Kill the Jews."
At :10, it is clear a pro-Israel counter-protester holding an Israeli flag was the one who uttered that phrase
Yet another Zionist hate crime hoax

It’s no mystery why the cops allow neo-Nazis to demonstrate without a bother, or stand down in the face of right-wing “insurrections,” while violently arresting anyone who dares belt out a “Free Palestine!” chant on campus.
The former [neo-Nazis and “insurrectionists”] are either feds, or useful idiots in a Strategy of Tension style psy-op aimed at increasing security state powers, while the latter [anti-genocide protesters] are an organic element with grassroots appeal which threatens the core of imperial and oligarchic power.
Don’t believe me?
Learn about the FBI-manufactured plot to kidnap Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and pin the conspiracy on Trump supporters at the height of the 2020 election. It all began with an FBI order for the MI state police to stand down and allow gun toting right-wing protesters to storm the state Capitol building in Lansing on April 30, 2020.

NEW: According to an FBI informant, the Michigan State Police allowed armed protesters into the Capitol in Lansing on April 30, 2020, at the specific request of the FBI, which wanted to "de-escalate" the situation.
Mmm. Yet they're throwing the book at Jan 6 protestors and will let all of these kids protesting the Gaza genocide out immediately after processing them. I assume - we'll see whose model has more predictive power.
Yes they are, and I’ve always said many of the Jan 6 defendants have had their civil liberties heinously violated. But it’s hard to dispute the police stood down that day. It was a security state trap.
Jail time will tell the tale. Conservitards get years on trumped-up charges for what should be misdemeanors. How much time will these elite college brats (whom I support, btw - Israel should be deskroyed) serve? We'll see. I bet very little, which will belie your thesis.
My thesis holds that certain protest movements are allowed to materialize while others are immediately repressed, depending on how the spectacle can be weaponized by the security state and the threat the movements behind them present to entrenched power. Harsh sentences are often the result of a successful security state trap.
Stein’s arrest (below) looks fairly mild on video, but some of the other videos show quite unnecessary violence, IMO. Publicity stunt? Who knows, but this from Wikipedia is worth recalling regarding her role in the 2016 elections:
Stein played a significant role in several crucial battleground states, drawing a vote total in three of them—Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania—that exceeded the margin between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton.
Now, it’s also true that Gary Johnson’s Libertarian outdrew Stein in all those states by a massive margin. Still, this is 2024, and the issues are far different. Could Stein turn out to be a protest vote for the Left?

I did hear "kill the Jews," said by a counter-protester holding an Israeli flag, seemingly as a provocative joke in response to the group's pro-Palestine chants. Not sure if that's the specific incident @Northeastern leadership is referring to

What began as a student demonstration two days ago, was infiltrated by professional organizers with no affiliation to Northeastern. Last night, the use of virulent antisemitic slurs, including 'Kill the Jews,' crossed the line. We cannot tolerate this kind of hate on our campus."
Back by popular demand. First Tracey admits to a misspent life:

I've listened to probably thousands of hours of Howard Stern (don't ask) and this is the most embarrassing thing I've ever heard from him. Gushes how "lucky" we all are to have Biden as "Father of the Country," with an "organized administration" (?) and for "standing up to Putin"
Then he goes undercover at Yale. Johnson is such a cretin:
Speaker Mike Johnson declared this week that campus protesters across the Nation have “placed a target on the back of Jewish students,” forcing them to “run for their lives” and stay home “hiding in fear.” There’s no evidence for this ludicrous claim. It’s just a total brazen lie
See this trailblazing thread for an in-depth investigation of the historically dangerous conditions on American Elite College Campuses, which Bibi Netanyahu and Elon Musk just frightfully likened to Nazi Germany in the 1930s

I’m currently at Princeton wearing my Yarmulke, waiting to be inundated with all the vicious anti-Semitism we’re told has overtaken our once-great Elite American Universities. I’ll let you know if I survive
"Self-hating Jew" is largely just a bogus canard to disguise the reality of the dispute, which is fundamentally over conflicting political and religious beliefs regarding a particular nation-state -- not whether individual Jews "hate" themselves for being Jewish
Anyone who actually goes and observes these protests knows that half the time Jewish students are literally the ones ORGANIZING them. Which reveals the total idiocy of the "anti-Semitism" lie. Find one corroborated instance of hatred against Jews qua Jews. Simply does not exist
So the “Israeli lobby” is funding the counter protesters, I saw one brief blurb claiming Soros money is funding the Gaza group. So whose money is it? This is not organic, thousands of dollars for REI tents and all?
It wasn't uncommon for social protest movements in the 70s to have their own security cordon to delineate their group from random people joining (troublemakers, infiltrators, etc). I could be mistaken, but I'm fairly certain it's a practice that existed in the 20s/30s as well and it wouldn't surprise me if it occurred in the mid 1800s.
My point is just that this theme (Max's argument) isn't new.
If individuals are disorganized, naive or manipulated, they can hardly blame other groups for taking advantage.
A few days ago I saw a "viral" clip of NY protestors (Colombia Uni?) who had no idea what they were protesting. Like, "come on man". These are literally useful idiots serving the agenda of others. It's a good distraction.
