Is there a list of banks and credit card systems that were affected?

Ed D'Agostino of Mauldin Economics posts a geopolitical analyst or investment, market-related interview on YouTube every Friday. The subject line in the email for today's interview was "Co-Founder of CrowdStrike: Taiwan Could Be the Next Ukraine | Dmitri Alperovitch". The timing of the interview was quite the coincidence...

It's definitely revealing about the Deep State and their sick mentality. My guess is that the Chinese on Taiwan are nowhere near stupid enough to buy into that.

Junk code from Crowdstrike protecting the security of your system? These complicated security packages tangled up with the OS are a virus. They slow your system down and provide the illusion of security while increasing the attack surface. Good riddance to Crowdstrike and all of their kind.

I run Linux at home and resort to Windows only when I need to use Quicken or Lightroom.

Just like Covid. They war games Covid years in advance and then it happened.

The WEF has been "war gaming" a "cyber pandemic", and voila, it happens too?

Go look it up.

If your bank or credit card processor was shut down it uses CrowdStrike anti-hacking software.

Get a new bank.

CrowdStrike was involved in the Russia hoax, Hillary's server, and the Ukraine Trump impeachment.

What happens when your anti-hacking software company IS the hacker?

A "bad update" was released on the worlds computers?

What company unleashes an "update" without fully testing it?

When The WEF war games something they intend to make it happen using their global worldwide partners, CrowdStrike is one of them.

I saw a video of the CEO of CrowdStrike (Shawn Henry?) being interviewed about this total screwup. He was clearly near tears--choked up and hadda suck on a bottle of water.

I have a friend who’s an electrical engineer but she and her company are heavily into computer tech to manage their products (line long electric). As I had been traveling to see her I didn’t have any information other than the morning update. She explained the whole thing to me and said her firm saw the problem the night before when the update was sent out, (did exactly what Megatron suggested as a work around) so they never had any Microsoft failures.

Why did the airlines and others not see this, who’s running their computer shops?

I understand that Crowdstrike has an awesome DIE program. I’ll bet they wish they had hired competent programmers instead of a diverse and inclusive and equitable workforce.

I'll bet he was crying, it could be the end of that company. Who wants to buy anti-hacking "protection" that's worse than the hackers?

Did you read the Instapundits substack?

Billions of computers worldwide might be dead forever.

Each one has to have a specific line of code removed by someone, IF you can get it to turn on at all in safe mode.

How many people will sue the company? How much does a billion computers cost? Are they liable?

So Johnson will arrest anyone who shouts at Netanyahu, but won’t arrest Garland after he flagrantly ignored a congressional subpoena? What a disgrace.

I don't expect that using Israelis as human shields provides for much of a deterrent. It wouldn't be for me if it were my finger on the button.

On the contrary, that pier was used to launch a major assault into Gaza that ended with a huge massacre.
