Sort of off topic, but a data point on the DEI front. I signed up for a conference in early August and on the initial agenda for the first afternoon there was a keynote presentation on DEI. I took at look at the final agenda this week and...no DEI presentation! Completely off the agenda!

Important story about how the Trump admin actions vis-a-vis Israel have impacted current events in Israel and Gaza. Not easily discernable absent analysis like you have done. As you say, this somehow needs to be pressed with Trump. Hard to see how that will happen, though.

I believe the "I created peace in the Middle East" rhetorical prize was too much for Trump to resist once given the assurance by Kushner it could happen. Think what it could have meant to his legacy to accomplish what half a dozen Presidents before him could not do. In retrospect he was overly trusting of Israel, unaware of Netanyahu's eschatology and end goals, and overly dismissive of the Palestinians and their problems. Trump trusted in Israel and he has already said that Netanyahu has betrayed that trust. That was an excuse for then. It is not an excuse for what Trump is saying now.

The other thing I would add as far as the Abraham Accords is that it takes two (or more) to tango. It seems that over these many years the Arab leaders have only been concerned about the Palestinians to the extent that their poor treatment might arouse the more radical and restive elements of the own populations (i.e., the Wahhabis). Secondarily none of them have wanted to take in any Palestinians (for the same reason) plus they would be more of a burden than a benefit monetarily. So not all blame should go Trump. He could be praised for trying but condemned for being naïve, I guess. Again that is no excuse for his apparent attitude toward Israel and Gaza now.

Peter Duke came up with a brilliant design for a T-shirt that reflects the true nature of the 'vaccine' program:

https://thedukereport.com/shop/#!/show+your+vax+pride+with+this+lab-rat+design-A6097040a936510107c40bec1?productType=812&sellable=kaDd4G0gRGfAmXeYv0BL-812-7&appearance=2

It's worth looking at the rest of his site as well. He's done a stellar job of compiling a list of must read books for inquiring minds.

Back when people were asking "did you get the vaccine yet?" my answer was always, "nope, I'm in the control group." Asked what I meant, I pointed out that people who got 'vaccinated' are actually participating in the world's largest ever clinical trial of an unproven gene therapy, not really a vaccine at all. Response varied from a blank stare to open hostility, but my response was consistent regardless of the reaction: "If you're protected by the vaccine, then why are you worried about me?" No ready answer for that one is there, especially when you were told it was "safe and effective."

Anyone who showed a glimmer of hope got this link to the Great Barrington Declaration which I would say has aged rather well, and is closing in on a million signatures right now.

https://gbdeclaration.org/

I did an informal survey whenever the topic came up, which was fairly often back then. I simply asked people if, prior to receiving the 'vaccine,' they were informed that it was provided under emergency authorization, had not actually passed a full scale clinical trial, and that its manufacturers and distributors were indemnified against adverse outcomes. Not a single person replied in the positive. Not one. So much for informed consent.

Wonderful T-shirt and I think your approach for interacting with people regarding the "vaccine" was perfect. I hope I will not have occasion to use this approach in the future but I will certainly use it if needed. Thanks!

Uhhh I wasn't ready to bite on this story before but this is wild. The Managing Director of the corp that makes the earpiece earrings Kamala was accused of said "The resemblance is striking" to its product, marveled how "suited" it is for debates, & offered to sell one to Trump.

Then there is the inability of the US to sustain a military erection in the Persian Gulf. After rushing two aircraft carrier task forces to the Middle East in anticipation of Iran launching a retaliatory strike on Israel, the United States has ordered the USS Roosevelt to leave West Asia (i.e., the Persian Gulf) and head east towards China. ...

Related to that, there are **reports out of Europe that Hezbollah’s missile/drone barrage from three weeks ago inflicted significant casualties on Israeli intelligence operators based at Gillot, the headquarters of Unit 8200.** Netanyahu imposed a news embargo immediately after those strikes, which adds credibility to the reports that Hezbollah scored a victory.

I recently had a conversation with a radiologist who attributed the upsurge in cancer to a lack of screening during the pandemic. That's the cover story apparently, and you'll hear it parroted by anyone in a position to know, but who just can't face the truth. If someone does drop that line on you, the correct reply is "how do you explain the upsurge in countries that didn't suspend screening, and how do you explain the increase in people who previously were not in any risk group, particularly the young. No ready answer to that one.

Correlation is not causation, but when you see a strong correlation, the rational (scientific) response it to take a closer look, not brush it off with weak excuses.

Trump and Biden inherited the political reality around Israel shaped by their predecessors. Trump absolutely poured jet fuel on that fire and Biden did the same. For claiming to be such friends of Israel the US sure has fucked them by indulging their every violent fantasy and facilitating the total radicalization of their own population. The century-long effort to split Sunni and Shia is unraveling and that is the only security Israel ever had. The aircraft carriers are leaving, the ummah is resurgent, Israel is fucked.

The meaning of history is that we are involved in family dramas not involving our own family on our own continent. How about that for an unchosen bond!

Speaking of family formation, consider that... you cannot be Jewish unless you are born into it; you cannot not be Muslim, because the world is divided into the house of those who have surrendered to Allah and those who have not yet surrendered; but you can choose Christ. Three very different ways of living in the world.
