Well, I don’t think it matters what the polls are. This is Trump’s moment to play the Roman Emperor and whatever American general he seems to admire.
I think a telling point is now sitting the Gerald Ford into the area. OK that now gives you three carrier battle groups. Trump has boxed himself into a corner with all of his bullying and threatening, and we are fast approaching the moment of truth. What does he do?
Does bluster and then back off and pull all of those military assets out of the Middle East that he’s put there at tremendous expense ?
Or does he finally pull the trigger and go to war thinking that he’s going to be able to accomplish regime change and a revolution in Iran in two weeks because that is all of the armorents and munitions we have three weeks maybe.
But he’s gonna find out the hard way that a bombing campaign is not going to do the job and guess what we don’t have the 2 to 3,000,000 man army to send in on the ground to finish the job up.
