The fear in our leadership is front and center for all to see. This is what military juntas do to political enemies when attempting to takeover a country. Do you suppose Mossad and cia are beginning to make their move?

IMPORTANT UPDATE

Judge Nap was NOT removed from that flight from NYC alongside Scott.

Larry Johnson, who's already in St. Petersburg - we're meeting tomorrow - wrote me, "the judge canceled earlier in the day because the Russian citizen, a former FSB officer, who is going to sponsor them was arrested last night via orders from a political opponent. Their sponsor is running for mayor in some city outside of Moscow. This local official acted with local police. Once Scott learned that he told the judge better to cancel, I don’t think that had anything to do with Scott being removed from the flight."

By the way, Judge Nap was interviewing Larry exactly when Scott was facing Little Blinkie's no-fly hysterics.

Orders? Shouldn’t they have to show some paperwork justifying the seizure of the passport? I do not like state power being flexed in an anonymous way. Is this a due process violation? Thank you.

Yes. The Daily Beast article was immediately recognisable as a smear piece.

So it seems the person underwriting travel costs (and possibly more) for the trip was the General Director of the Novosibirsk Region Development Corporation. Alexander Zyryanov, for it is he, was arrested on suspicion of corruption. When Ritter learned this he warned off Judge Nap. He decided to carry on himself for reasons that he presented as thoroughly noble, as you would. I begin to wonder if the goon squad actually showed up at all . . .

They can arrest a former POTUS on fake charges, so this is small fry. I hope Scott turns up online at the meeting.

Ritter, Napolitano....They tried to shutter Info Wars this week. And of course, Trump. All part of an ongoing trend.

Ritter is critic of Ukraine I would guess. This whole thing smacks of Stalinism. The Russian economic forum would be a very important thing to attend and you can bet they’ll be high-level people speaking there maybe even Putin. I guess I’ll have to rely on Pepe Escobar to see what’s going on over there. The question I have Mark is who else was on their way to Saint Petersburg today for this economic summit that may have been pulled from their planes also. I don’t buy it was just Ritter and Judge nap. Why was Ritter singled out for such treatment? Is he a political enemy of the Biden administration. This goes right along with stuff that happened with Lincoln and Wilson, respectively.

In fact, as I noted elsewhere, Larry Johnson is currently in St. Petersburg. LJ says that the cancelation of Nap's trip was unrelated to Ritter's trouble--Nap was not pulled off the plane.

Re Ritter, he's not only a political enemy of the Biden regime, he's a long time enemy of the Deep State with regard to his outspoken views on arms control issues re Iraq and Russia. This all happened in connection with his posting to the UN arms control agency. As such, Ritter's much more of a priority target.

I have to assume that criminal charges of some sort are pending. I can't think of any other justification for confiscating his passport.

Wasn’t it Scott Ritter who blew the whistle on the whole “Iraqi WMD” bogus issue for war?

If he wasn't the whistle blower himself, he was certainly the most visible, er, audible voice in calling out the lies that led us into war. Yes.

LOL at 'audible' . . . Scott Ritter can certainly rant. Another recent podcast, that he did with Ania K, I really thought she was about to burst into tears with his apocalyptic forecasts.

Napolitano intimated that he was dissuaded from travelling by Ritter himself, and there was reference to a Russian sponsor underwriting the travel costs etc. It didn't wholly make sense . . .

Ritter is definitely a marked man.

If no charges are brought, then this would be a transparently political/censorship move.

According to Larry Johnson:

Judge Napolitano, despite reports to the contrary, was not removed from the flight. He had received news earlier in the day that required him to cancel the trip with Scott, but Scott’s plans were unaffected (until the Homeland Security dudes showed up). So, the Judge and his producer scrambled around and I did my normal 11am EST appearance (except it was 6pm in St. Petersburg).

They don't like independent media going to Russia and reporting they're real normal people and not orcs running through the streets, like the British, French & Germans like to portray. Larry Johnson (SONAR21) is either there now or just got back.

They're just practicing on Trump...events like this and J6th prosecutions are the end game. With control of deep state, especially the DOJ, they're large & in charge (FOR NOW).

Maybe it was a test. I would think that Mr. Ritter would know to fly to Copenhagen or similar first. Maybe the next day, decide a side trip to St. Petersburg would be nice.

He was flying to Istanbul. Somebody at State knew his final destination ahead of time.

He wasn't hiding his destination--he was scheduled to be a speaker at the St. Petersburg forum. There are no direct flights to Russia from the US. Sanctions.

No, travel to Russia is not prohibited. In fact, Larry Johnson is currently in St. Petersburg, so this is most likely something specific to Ritter. And possibly Nap.

Isn’t ‘democracy’ great? So glad we don’t live in countries that prevent our free movement like the Soviet Union used to … oh wait a minute. 🙄
