The face of the dead shooter compared to the named suspect in a side by side of an Antifa activist. It warrants some questions I think.

It seems the building the shooter was on the roof of.

Had 3 government sharpshooters watching the crowd from within.

It keeps getting weirder. Why wouldn't they be on top--height provides a much better vantage? It's the most obvious "sniper nest" in the entire area.

FBI Claims Purportedly Struggling To Crack Trump Shooter's Phone

Authored by Ken Silva via HeadlineUSA.com,

The FBI has reportedly taken alleged Trump shooter Thomas Matthew Crooks’s phone to its lab in Quantico, Virginia, where its technicians are working to unlock it as part of the investigation into his possible motives.

But according to Fox News reporter Laura Ingraham, the FBI’s finest techies are struggling to crack the phone.

“An official is telling Fox they believe the shooter acted along. We’re also learning they can’t get into his cellphone,” Ingraham said on Sunday. “They have it at Quantico but haven’t been able to get any data out of it.”

BREAKING 🚨 Quantico reportedly cannot get into the alleged shooter’s cell phone, who they state: "Acted alone."

The FBI’s claim that it can’t crack Crooks’s phone should be treated with skepticism. The bureau has a track record of lying about such matters.

Lowkey @Lowkey0nline

Keir Starmer has quietly appointed two former Israel lobbyists to positions in government.

Ruth Anderson (formerly Smeeth) has been selected to be the government's whip in the House of Lords.

She was a director of public affairs at the key Israel lobby group, BICOM.

I wonder if they'll now try and save face and actually beef up DJT's security to what it should be. Also, has anyone noticed the deafening silence, apart from Lady Lindsey, of the GOP?

The mistake people are making is thinking that this is the first time the SS has screwed things up

Just because we have an incident with an obvious lapse from the SS does not mean it was their first and only time

We are in the era of incompetence after all. I wouldn't be surprised if dozens of events for Biden, Trump, and others had security holes the size of planets. There aren't going to be would-be assassins at every event, so we just didn't know till now.

SONAR21, Larry Johnson covered this quite clearly in his interview/discussion with a retired HRT/CIA sniper, Chris Witcomb; the snipers did their job well. A lot of commentary by ignorant people will simply fuel the fire. SS leadership and local police screwed up, but not the snipers and not the protective detail; Trump clearly resisted their attempts to keep him down. That is on him. Criticize SS leadership and local police probably, but not those around Trump; they did what they are supposed to do. Trump, the genius showman had the presence of mind to understand the moment and take advantage of it. Had the assassin not already been dead or a bit quicker, Trump might have not lived after exposing himself.

Trump should have been removed from the podium during the 3-4 minutes god and everybody knew the gunman was up there trying to line up the shot. Huge SS FAIL. And those crouching, flapping, hapless female DEI hires were a joke. Period.

Thanks for a great summary! Today I started thinking about the other rallies and often they were at airports or other mostly open areas. This area in PA seemed to be a place that didn't usually hold large events, although I am not sure. Last week Trump was at his own golf course, Doral, and they have a lot more oversight I would think at his own place.

Interesting the reflection on being reactive versus proactive to the threat present. Further, where was the communication once the sniper was spotted to get Trump off the stage? Seems like a significant gap to me. I'm sure to others too.

Coffee & Covid substack mentions the tall ladder stacked against the building wall. How did he get the ladder there (according to C&C the shooter had a small car) - on the day or the night before? Why wasn't it picked up in the security sweep?

These questions among others were asked in response to the F.B.I announcement that the shooter acted alone a very short time after the kerfuffle (as CNN would probably describe it).

I just saw a video on twitter of people pointing to the guy climbing up and crawling across the roof--and shouting to the police, pointing them to the guy. We're talking quite a few minutes before the actual shooting.

Mark,

A lot of speculation in the media.

Larry Johnson posted an excellent discussion with Chris Whitcomb, a former sniper with the FBI HRT. He has had many interactions with the Secret Service protection details in the past, and appears to have an excellent understanding of SS protocols.

Chris presents some excellent perspective on the actions of the SS in the immediate minutes before and after the assassination attempt, which may provide much clarification.

He does, however, point out that the failure to properly isolate and station personnel on the adjacent rooftop was an egregious error.

I have no long range shooting training, so I'm pleased that my deductions match up pretty well with the expert opinions of Chris Whitcomb. Thanks again. I'm half way through. I'm hoping to hear something about chain of command communications.
