Isis-K made up moniker by the Deep State reminds me of my Dad teaching me how to go about snipe hunting.

Delightful! My great grandmother (b. 1885) introduced my brother & me to snipe hunting back in the 60s.

“It's part of a process that Erdogan has overseen.”

It’s interesting that Fethullah Gülen’s schools (funded by the US) across the globe were forcibly closed down by Turkey in Islamic states (still functioning in the West) and transferred to the Turkish Maarif Foundation.

This makes Turkey the head of a vast network of Islamic schools across the globe. It’s interesting that that the US simply acquiesced.

In a bait and switch US embassy in France now warning Americans of terrorist activity.

I'll bet they didn't mention how they know about the future terrorism or any details about it. Did they notify the French authorities? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Nuland got fired because of this statement knowing full well incidents like this would boomerang back. She just couldn't help herself as usual.

Alistair's reaction from the Senator reeks of the ghost of John McCain.

And of course our all star Congressmen swallowing the Isis-K theory hook line and sinker for all the Sunday news shows. https://thehill.com/homenews/senate/4552469-gop-senators-raise-concerns-about-isis-attacks-against-americans-after-moscow-shooting/

Are these Senators compensated by the Deep State to throw curveballs knowing full well who's behind this or are they really that ignorant?

Well, Cotton and Rubio are two of the foremost neocons in the Senate (although they sometimes like to present as populists) and everyone knows it. They are anti-Russia hawks and have ties to all the usual players, including the defense industry, the Council on Foreign Relations, and Israeli megadonors. No shock for them to lie to the public about this. I think it is quite likely they know exactly what went down and who did it. Don't believe me? Consider this:

I’ll take “that ignorant” for 1000.00.

But then they are pretty much unprincipled as well. Ok, AC, you got me:-)

Nope; don't got you. I'm trying to figure it out so when I'm a Senator I know when to be ignorant and when to be principled.

The Jotato regime has come a long way from:

“America... goes not abroad, in search of monsters to destroy. She is the well-wisher to the freedom and independence of all.”

Looks like Operation Mongoose is getting a modern iteration.

One can only imagine the assets and networks the US pumped into Russia after the Soviet collapse.

One can imagine, but one's imagination would likely fall short of the reality.

I believe Milley and Nuland should now be the ones wondering if they're going to get their throats slit in the middle of the night. As for Zelensky and Budanov, that is a foregone conclusion.

What effect will this terror attack have on prospects for more billions to Ukraine?

SMH's avatar

Well, if past performance is any indicator, I’m sure that the Republicans will stand strong and firm in their opposition to more aid for Ukraine, just like they did with the recent 1.2 Trillion Dollar “stopgap” to keep a mostly useless government from running out of money, oh wait…..

Didn't Budanov get badly injured in missile strike fairly early in the SMO.? Reports had him being flown to Germany for treatment ? I have no doubt, if he remains in Ukraine, his days are numbered. When Putin states Russia wants to know who ordered the attack and such, I got the impression of a cat playing with a mouse. The grand chess master may be posing questions he already knows the answers to? Perhaps to see how the West reacts?
