The whole world seems to be preparing to burn right now ...

On a lighter note I made a lovely Genoese sponge roulade today ...

Japan bombed Pearl Harbor. The first country America invades? Morocco. Wars are not linear.

Nothing encourages an aggressor more than knowing they have a safe refuge to attack from.

So you're saying that Romania is a safe refuge for the US?

C Span 2, just this morning, aired a presentation by Marc Morano on his book The Great Reset. The presentation took place in California before a live audience on September 14 2022.

I don't believe the globalists have any reverse gear here. As you say, Mark, everything else they've tried has failed. However, there is no sign that they've got the message and are pushing the Ukies to negotiate. This "press on regardless" attitude is the same in the run-up to the midterms. The dems are getting shellacked and look to be heading for a historical drubbing. But what do they do? Double down on death shots for kids, and all the other insane Woke nonsense that drives voters into the arms of the GOP. Scary.

Where is Russia gaining ground? Are we watching news from alternate realities?

Russia has gained most of its territorial aims: securing the Donbass where most of Ukraine's ethnic Russians live.

Russia has gained a large amount of ground, equivalent to a number of European countries or US states. It is pausing now to regroup and prepare for a much larger operation featuring the regular RF army. In the meantime it continues to dismantle strong defenses in Donbass, and has begun to move forward again in the north. All this while it has inflicted extremely heavy losses on Ukraine and NATO replacement equipment (to replace the Ukrainian equipment RF destroyed). In the total context of a strongly dug in and very large, modern well equipped army Ukraine army, RF is doing well. It has sought to bring Ukraine to negotiations without destroying the country. That is about to change, as we see from the current dismantling of infrastructure. Check your reality.

And all that without actually using many Russian soldiers. Those RF forces in Belarus intrigue me. Attack on Kiev or protection against any Nato stupidity (sorry for the tautology there)?

Stupifying, especially following Cassandra-like warnings, from Keenan and Kissinger, down to Chomsky and Sachs…that inviting Ukraine into Nato, and transforming Nato into an agressor will lead to war with Russia…I hope this is all just sound and fury, pre-electioneering gibberish, but every day seems to bring another assault on reason, wisdom and compromise…

I’m pretty sure I read/heard somewhere a week or two ago that NATO was running long-scheduled war games about now on its eastern flank. This might explain what the 101st are doing there in the first place. Nevertheless, the games themselves, to say nothing of comments from that idiot Petraeus, are extremely provocative and dangerous.

“All In” Pettraeus.

Yes. Those war games are specifically for nuclear preparedness and include simulated nuclear attacks on Russia with B-52 bombers. They take place near the Russia borders.

Timing says this is connected to the midterms.

Unless the Ukrainian forces have been bled so much, plus the hits to the electrical grid impacting logistics, the Ukrainian forces are about to collapse?

AOC’s townhall probably shows the Dem Base is unhappy with the threat of war.

Tulsi is pushing hard against the war, and campaigning. I would be very nervous if I was a Democratic incumbent Candidate right now.

The only reasonable angles are:

1. The Biden Administration believes they can bluff the Russians into backing down in Ukraine.

2. Or they believe if the Us can go into Eastern Ukraine as peacekeepers, enacting defacto partition, Russia won’t attack the US forces. This way Ukraine won’t lose more territory, which it’s about to.

Here I am watching a football game and I see this. What in the holy hell are these nuts thinking? Position a premier division of the American military 3 miles from the border of a belligerent in a major land war? I don't even know what to think. Reckless and irresponsible doesn't even come close.

"Reckless and irresponsible doesn't even come close." How about absolute insanity?

I believe it was Tom Clancy's "Sum of all Fears' that introduced detonating a small nuclear device during an American football game by terrorists. His book went on to detail that the remaining trace elements of the detonated device could be tracked to a radiological source. Clancy wasn't just pulling punches, as his research and the technical input provided for his book was very convincing.

Everything about this whole fiasco seems far fetched, but every morning I find that it’s really happening. CIC who quite literally babbles jibberish when questioned by a reporter, “Nothing to see here, move along”.

How long before he says something else stupid and they finally get their war?!

This is such a cluster f&@k

If the red wave materializes, I hope that the feckless rinos are pushed aside and someone with a set of balls brings this insane crap to a screeching halt damn fast. If they don’t, I can’t see us making it to 2024.

You hear me Mitch, Kevin and the rest of you cowardly and useless politicians.

It does seem far fetched. The past 20 years have been increasingly unbelievable, but like you I can’t deny the incredibly ham handed, gross departure from our Constitution and the rule of law.

I am reminded by the stories from family and friends about where they were when they heard Pearl Harbor had been attacked. It was shocking, despite all the escalating turbulence in the world.

Orwell was not a prophet. He just recognized the pattern that repeats every 80 years or so; after the last people with first hand knowledge of the last push for world domination have died. Recently I’ve heard people jokingly calling conspiracy theories “spoiler alerts.”

I was a kid coming home from baseball in the park when I was told about Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941 by a neighbor. No comparison with the idiocy going on now. We were attacked. Germany declared war on us shortly thereafter. We were not given the option of minding our own business. And yes, Orwell was a prophet, although he was four decades off. The tone-deaf people in Washington are illegally ruling over us, and they are doing it in such a heavy-handed manner that they can expect zero cooperation from we the citizens. Any war they get us into will have no support from the proles.

Funny you should mention Pearl Harbor. Though obviously not a false flag, there are reasons to believe the Roosevelt admin knew in advance about the impending attack but cynically let it happen in order to finally drag us into the war.
