We’ve been talking about this concept—the Great Back Pedal—under the rubric of searching for an exit strategy. We’ve seen that our Rulers don’t feel able to simply do a sudden pivot, they have to engage in what appears to be “double downing” even as they back pedal.
The same is true of despicable Nancy Pelosi and loathsome dullard Gavin Newsom going out to dine at the height of the hysteria without masks or "social distancing" etc. They deserve reproach for their casual acceptance of a virtual caste system.
