From Hudson's article: "The Biden administration accordingly has backed the expansion of offshore drilling, supported the Canadian pipeline to the world’s dirtiest petroleum source in the Athabasca tar sands, and celebrated the revival of U.S. fracking." Among other points in that section... Isn't it the exact opposite? Please explain.
No idea what he's talking about. I skimmed that section, since I'm not generally a fan of Hudson. Please understand that linking or quoting doesn't equate to blanket approbation. It's a shortcut for me to say what I want.
It’s a leftist analysis that has the model of three groups control Congress due to campaign contributions:
- defense military complex
- real estate / finance / banking
- oil / mining
I prefer Prof Mead’s model of archetypes Jackson (maga), Hamiltonian (big business), Jefferson (classic liberal) , Wilson (elitism).
Hudson’s model sees both parties the same, and is willfully blind to the impact of the deepstate, globalism, incestrious elites controlling all major cultures institutions including Hollywood, media, internet giants, public schools, and higher education.
As well as how the major parties make sure only the right candidates that don’t rock the boat get elected.
At the risk of oversimplification, the history of America since 1944 at least is this epitaph: having scaled the pinnacle of world power, the US government went absolutely mad with power and hubris.
The utter corruption, lawlessness, perversions, godlessness, bloodthirst... is all the inevitable consequence of a government that went mad with power. I used to count myself the lottery winner of life being born American, but that ticket has some real kicker fine print we are all about to discover.
Michael Goodwin writes in today's NY Post "In short, as awful as events in Ukraine are, they likely signal just the start of a new wave of hot-button confrontations. Our adversaries are determined to create a new world order, and our president is . . . Joe Biden. Heaven help us."
I am much more concerned about the New World Order being created by our present regime together with all the Western oligarchs.
Regarding Brandon during the SOTU, how many more examples must there be that show he is a mess? I'm guessing the GOP leadership, for what it is, will do nothing to publicly question his cognitive ability until it can play a deciding role in replacing Harris as VP should she move up to POTUS. That means after the mid-term election if they move at all. McConnell and McCarthy seem content to watch Biden continue to deteriorate physically and mentally with each passing month while dragging the donkeys down with him. I don't see the potential for a bump in the polls for Brandon after the SOTU unless there is a sliver of a sympathy factor out there.
Some of the economic warfare is seizing of gold reserves, ships, threatening the Ruble, Switzerland abandoning their bank secrecy, threats to kick Russia out of SWIFT, are all going to have a huge longer term cost. And Taiwan said it would no longer sell chips to Russia.
Plus, financial sanctions, including Apple and Google pay not working, will have a huge backlash. Same as the censorship. Which country wants to be at the mercy of Cupertino, Menlo Park, San Francisco, and Mountain View Tech Giants?
China is taking notes on the US Economic Sanctions, will offer alternatives, and countries will require the ability for Apple and Google not to repeat this for payments within their country.
And India is figuring out how to purchase stuff from Russia, without using US Dollars.
The use of all the economic weapons above is going to re-order the world's finance system. Short term it's working, but longer term it's a HUGE lever to destroy the US Dollar as the world's reserve currency. The US and West is showing it can't be trusted.
I hadn't heard that Taiwan was blacklisting Russia. If so, how long until Russia convinces its new bestest buddy China to rectify that situation in a manner that China has been considering for the last 70 years?
As much as i enjoy seeing people protest the WEF i can't help but wonder who is financing them. Most of what passes for protests and activism today is a front for monied interests that see some advantage in manufacturing demonstrations. If it's truly grass roots, great, but too often it's astro turf.
I think that one of the (desired?) outcomes of the Plandemic was the fracturing of the citizenry. When there are huge numbers of Americans who want you censored/ incarcerated/ impoverished/ dead for not taking the jab (or for simply disagreeing with them), then your question takes on an even more ominous implication.
Let's get personal. Many of our *family members * took the damn jabs. Should they suffer death or disability, we may see a level of crazy and frenzy for retribution unknown to this country.
Hubristic Brandon Administration never thought Russia would attack their weak area…
“The Russian ambassador to the UN just said that Trump was the legitimate president and that he was ousted (by election fraud).”

From recent White House announcements, it seems like an implementation of the Green New Deal.

Yes. ^this^
Although we might consider that it was more than the *government*. It was also the *people*.

Same here.

Why should the GOP?
Trump was a threat to the status quo, and had to go. Brandon is not a threat to the ongoing grift / corruption, and won’t upset the Apple cart.
That post inspires a lot of confidence in the future. I should have had a few pops before I read it :)

My wife listens to Taiwanese news shows every night.
This process as described has been ongoing for at least several years--beyond just the talking stage. These developments will accelerate the process.

You speak for many of us, I think.
