75,000 weather balloons are released each year in the us. Size is only 20 ft diameter. I wonder on those recent us intercepts…

At this point, I’m not sure that they’re creating fear as much as ridicule and contempt. Might have a big budget, but they’re gonna have to buy everything from China and I’m not really sure where they will find the people to fill those pesky enlistment quotas. But at least they’ve been able to identify the real enemies; climate change and aliens, so we’ve got that going for us.

I’m sure that by now everyone here is aware that the Whitehouse has issued statements that these “ unidentified objects” are not aliens, aaa, did this country just slip into the Twilight Zone for real? These people can’t get their heads around anything!! Apparently they have no idea what the objects are that are suddenly invading our airspace or where they originated. Starting to make the Keystone Cops look like a crack law enforcement organization.

But it’s okay folks, they’ve got this Ukraine situation under control, along with the economy and our relationship with the rest of the world. Not to worry.

Wow! Mark, please tell me that you haven’t been abducted by aliens.

Whack a balloon. A new game in town.

I just heard one of the empty media heads say the "balloon" they "shot" down near Lake Huron is the "balloon" that was sighted over Montana that "they" shot at and missed. Nope, not drinking. Should be.

Clinton had Harry & Linda Bloodworth-Thomason, and Obama had well, everyone, (Shout out to the Greek columns). OBiden has Jon Meacham's hits like the 2022 demonic red speech and recent State of the Union where he was channeling his inner Trump. I want to know which hollywood sitcom and/or sci fi writer is responsible for all OBiden's non-stop entertainment. With an admistration like this one, who needs netflix.

Thanks for sharing Ray. I saw her agenda as a woke anti-thesis but haven't been impressed yet with her Ukraine support responses. As the article alludes, paying homage to the EU due to leverage. Berlusconi's remarks today were interesting.

Three cheers for Hungary! May their effort to de-NATOize succeed wildly, next they should de-EUize. USAID? Doesn't that stand for U. S. Agency for International, what is it that the D means, is it Destruction, Devastation, Demolition, Derangement?

Hungary needs to kick USAID and Samantha Powers out of the country. Expect de-stabilizing activity.

I saw this post a couple of days ago, which provides a bit of additional history on the "meddling" the U.S. has habitually done in Hungary:

https://www.theburningplatform.com/2023/02/09/smack-down-hungary-pushes-back-against-obnoxious-us-ambassador/

It would not surprise me if Pressman, given his marital status, was appointed by the Biden admin as a deliberate insult to Hungary and its prevailing moral beliefs. The arrogance, bullying, and subterfuge exhibited by our government toward others have nothing to do with what this country was intended to be.

May I re-frame your first sentence? The US government, acting independently of its citizens, is expanding its war on reality. With total control over the media, and the ability to censor opposing points of view, Washington is dictating its doctrine to the world. There once was a king called Canute who is said to have parked his throne on the seashore and commanded the tide not to rise.

I hate it that "unprovoked" seems to be a required modifier to be used by all our congress people to describe the Russians. It shows their ignorance of Ukrainian history at least and their corruption at worst. I find it very scary.

It almost seems as if our government’s main goal is to make it perfectly clear to the rest of the world that we are the world’s most hated bully. It almost seems they want to provoke an “unprovoked” comeuppance. After which, they can build back better? Surely that is too crazy even for them.

For many people believing in the Covid vax is core to their identity. My best friend is a senior hospital exec (ex-nurse). She is pro-vax. She refuses to talk about Covid with me and won’t look at any data - because if she did she’d have to question the system she’s worked in for 40 years. It’s existential for many people who work in government or the health industry. Admitting all the lies about Covid threatens everything they have done and who they are. I don’t know how you reach people with this issue - but facts don’t work.

Hello FF!

Well said: it appears trusting that our leadership will honor Constitutional Laws, etc., is a huge contributor to our slippery-slope demise being seen all around us. Enough deception, being revealed steadily (particularly -weirdly enough- in the Twitter exposures) we would expect to get folks attention and they'd demand better; yet what you shared about the denial/refusal of your friend is endemic throughout our culture. Truth has been & continues to be the 1st victim in today's war on humanity. I guess ignorance is, indeed, Bliss. Too bad it can be so deadly. Always my best regards FF! (WRH)

Hello FOTW!

I'll nominate for consideration The Phone-Screen-Bound generation(s) for your consideration...

Those amusing surveillance cam vids of folks walking off ledges or falling into pools/ponds or (sadly) into traffic, oblivious as the likely very interesting thing-on-the-screen had their attention, kind of explain that nomination. Just one group of way too many but, I hope, evokes some amusement amongst this world of craziness. Hope your week goes well! (WRH)

Very legit point, RNO. The 'need' to control people is not bounded by Gov't... Jonestown, Waco etc. are extreme but the competition for bodies in 'christian churches' sadly is much too common. Taking advantage of folks' good intentions and desires knows no bounds. Religion seems rather dangerous, actually. Muslim/Islam etc. religions show what happens with man-run institutions 'in the name of God'. Kill the infidels-those non-believers- in the name of allah (and all that justification cr@p-lingo)! We humans, man can we mess up stuff! Best to ya! (WRH)

G'day RNO & Ray,

Denial is a potent agent. Med Professionals used to be, well, professionals. Obama care has socialized the medical practice and practitioners. It's not about blame I relate this thought, but perhaps survival. Socialism/Marixm depends on human instinct to deny reality to survive. Which, of course, our Constitutional Gov't can't do - it can only be destroyed. And destruction seems rather well on it's way to me. Good to hear from you here! (WRH)

Once upon a time in there was a world called analogia. It was a primitive time when communication was with telephones tethered to the wall with long cables and children fought with parents because they monopolized the instrument in private calls.

The only information came every morning delivered to your door in these things called newspapers which contained “the truth”. And on Sundays the New York Times weighed about twenty pounds of the absolute truth each week. It was the Bible

I could go in but The Game is about to start

Speaking of primitive times… When I was in college in the 1980s and went home during summers to a middle-of-nowhere rural location on the high plains, the NYT was delivered to me four days late by mail. It was my essential connection to the wider world.

How things have changed! Today, thanks to the interwebs, when I go home to visit family, I can get news and analysis in REAL TIME. Even stranger, I now consider the NYT only fit for lining a bird cage.
