The bottom line is that, far from hurting Russia, sanctions are blowing up in the face of the West. Putin is under no pressure to change course."

This is why it seems utterly facetious to me when phonies like Scott Ritter says that Russia is moving too slowly and they risk the war dragging out etc... It's a transparent attempt to get Russia to stop doing what is obviously working. These Globalistas have no other weapon, it seems, than their propaganda narrarives. The pressure is entirely on the West to cave in or face economic collapse. (But that's probably the goal so...hey, win win amirite?)

More and more of the arcane and usual response from Zhou’s admin. Clueless. No ability to forecast future impact of short-sighted de ion making. Similar to Yellen’s comments on inflation. Ineptitude all around. We pay for it. 81 million. Sure.

Going off on a tangent here but my love of WWII history often brings me back. The NYPost commenting on "huge losses" makes me marvel at the limited view of history taken by media types these days. Sure, 100 dead/500 wounded everyday is rough, especially if you're the one catching the bullets and bombs. If my math is correct though, the "Russians" endured an average of 17,000 killed for every day they participated in World War Two (the Germans about 5700 but, that includes the period 1939-1945). Ukrainians were part of the "Rote Armee" at the time and suffered accordingly. I think this thing will go on for a very long time if the ability to suffer is considered. I recently read Timothy Snyder's book "Bloodlands". If you haven't I recommend it highly. The people of these areas have been inured to suffering over the decades and I'm not quite sure we in the West understand that. I'd bet that long after Biden's an dthe rest of Europe's donated weapons are used up these people will be at each other's throats.

You have to ask the question: are the neocons and globalists trying to destroy the global economy; or are they just stupid, arrogant fools after all?

I wonder what the Biden Administration will try next in order to avoid a midterm blood bath?

The disinformation board was basically the fault of substack authors like Mark. Substack is one of the few remaining non censored platforms, and even more dangerous it allows people to earn a living doing it, and has a free version. Only a subscription based model works, the advertising supported model for most websites has failed. Google and Facebook get the majority of the advertising dollars on the internet.

Glenn Reynolds, instapundit, wrote of the army of David’s. Substack has finally made that a reality. Good article that supports this:

Dr. Malone for example via substack has a huge reach and impact. Even two years ago, the counter vax and Covid information was just not out there. Now I subscribe to several substacks about Covid.

Another example is Emerald Robinson got canceled. How dare she go against the Covid narrative! She is now on substack, and the Washington Post contacted her to fact-check her. People only get fact checked when they are a threat:

Interesting video post today by Alexander Mercouris. Among many interesting observations, Mercouris describes Russia's attempts to make payments on Russian government bonds denominated in dollars and held by Americans...which the US is trying to block.

Let that sink in. American holders of Russian bonds are due payments and Russia is trying to pay them. The US is blocking these payments. The bondholders, of course, have perfectly good contractual claims to payment, and the obligor is entirely willing to perform its obligations.

Of course, the Biden Administration has adopted a decidedly Alice in Wonderland approach to loan payments and contract law. Here in the US the Administration is inclined to let student loan borrowers who don't want to pay off the hook for repayment, whereas it seems to want to prohibit the Russians, who do want to pay, from completing their legal obligations.

Sooner or later...it can't be too much later...this insanity must end.

The Biden admin, the WEF, and the Ukro-Nazi government all say: "No Borscht for you! Only insects!" This while the Putin admin says to the Russian citizenry: "No Western insects for you, only Borscht!" Now who would you want to live under? On a serious note, Jamie Dimon came out on where things are going in the world economy due to the Biden admin maladroitness:

He seems to be on the side of Luongo. I wouldn't and won't bet against either of them.

Wish I was as confident as you are about “reality” setting in on the brain trust that created this mess, Mark.

Afraid I’m gonna have to side with Bill Engvald on this one, “you can’t fix stupid”!
