Regarding the "twice blocked with a 'phishing' warning" comment. I hope the author will elaborate on exactly how that occurred, the chain of events.

We all know big-tech and the Secret State Police are trying to silence Real Conservatives in any way they can. I have problems with certain anti-leftist websites causing my phone to lock up. A lot of emails I get from anti-leftists and republican party people are automatically put in "spam." I'm wondering if Substack is being targeted now.

It just doesn't add up for me that RFK Jr. can see through the Covid Hoax, be anti-war but is basically on board for the "Green New Deal." How is he can't see the obvious BS in that given that the GND is the most destructive?

Public opinion is exactly what the media says it is. The government is not the least concerned with actual public sentiment. I would strongly suggest people stop complaining and realize we now have the very best government money can buy. It is time I reread "1984" as in 2024 we will have finally arrived at all Orwell envisaged. Trump represents the eternal opposition, Goldstein , who hasn't a chance of ever being allowed to lift his head. All Washington is compromised, including the 'Trump' SC, and so we will never know if he could have brought an end to the Ukraine war, which will go on forever. There will be tough times, which will make for tough individuals, but any relationship between the 'proles' and the government will be non-existent, except as we conform to the norms a minimum to avoid unpleasantness.

The media are also the best that money can buy, and they are paid to tell you what to think. Neither the federal government nor the media is concerned with your local school board, except when you get too uppity and suggest changing their approved policies.

What I hope people are starting to see is that both the GPO and Dems are 2 sides to the same coin or Uniparty, that farce yesterday was all just theater for Con Inc to push out what great fighters they are will anyone be held accountable in the FBI, DOJ by these fighters. The fall of Ron D was predictable as he was a cardboard cut out being propped up by Con Inc it worked for the time he was able to hide in Floridia but one on the stage it all fell apart he has always been a do nothing pol who would talk allot but do nothing. If you really look at what he has done in Floridia was he went after some low hanging social issues got allot of publicity for it and let Con Inc run with it. Other than that Floridia is more of a mess than when he was elected insurance is a shambles, utilities are way up etc. I hope this country will start to see through the big con that has been happening in the US since WW2 before it is to late remember Con Inc, are not looking out for the average guy they are only doing what the Uniparty masters are telling them to do

Defense.org was acquired. So, it appears as a deliberate change of direction from his environmental law work. Was the deep state backing Kennedy? Was there foreknowledge that vaccines would become a political issue and a desire to capture and control that movement?

It appears that planning for RFK, Jr’s presidential campaign began at least as far back as 2018 when the kennedy24.org domain name was acquired by an anonymous registrant. It was in the same year that childrenshealth

"Ultimately, the party organization trumps the president—in most, virtually all, cases..." That's why there is no hope to be had from Washington DC. The GOP is not on Trump's side; it is on the side of the Deep State. It will never back any of Trump's initiatives to drain the Swamp.

"The only redeeming aspect is that the party organization is also beholden to public opinion." What evidence do you see of that? I see virtually NO recognition by the GOP of its base's views. Sure, McCarthy talked tough for a few weeks, and GOP-led committees regularly "blast" and "roast" Deep staters in congressional inquiries. However, that is as good as it gets. McConnell deserves credit for getting those constitutionalist judges on Scotus, but I doubt he did that because he cared a damn about what the base thinks.

Another observation. The brief clip of RFK Jr doing pushups was unimpressive. I counted only nine and he strained at that. At risk of bragging, I'm older than he is and do 35 on a regular basis with far less kabuki facial stress.

The kabuki facial stress is much easier for me than those 35 rep's, I confess... *Amanda, you cracked me up!* (WrH)

DeSantis flailing on the national stage is to be expected. He is far from a charismatic character and not an especially good campaigner. Also, he is now the target of the typical two minutes hate from the Dems and their myriad enablers in the media; subject to pressure from donors; and, with I assume a degree of chagrin, he wil learn Florida is Sunshine, but DC is Byzantine.

Expand full comment

It might be for the best. It would be great if he could stay in a FLA for a while and continue to keep it a Red stronghold for the bad times ahead.

Expand full comment

I concur. Even if DeSantis wins the nomination and wins the election, I'm not sure how effective he would be as POTUS. The Dems, the Deep State, media, et al, would undercut him relentlessly and constantly without the least grain of compunction.

I chuckled at this:

"His more recent comments have largely criticized the climate agenda and the push toward socialism inherent in the green energy push. He has also walked back his previous comments about gun control. I am willing to take the current candidate at his word..."

Seriously? Have you forgotten that he is a P O L I T I C I A N ?

Incentivized. Think about it. Why would he walk back his previous clearly stated and long held positions NOW?

Because he has incentive to do so; now he wants to be President! He will say whatever his focus-group testers and handlers tell him to say, whatever will get him the most votes. Remember, KLG, a leopard does not change its spots.

Please don't be so gullible. You say you are now willing to take him at his word, while knowing he has a powerful incentive to do a 180/flip flop on important issues. But what happened to his previous word? Why have you decided that he means what he says NOW instead of what he said THEN? Attitudes like this are what got us Obama and Biden. Please, no more Kennedy dynasty politicians. Haven't we had enough? I know i have.

Correction, Gavin. An elected REPUBLICAN President has only a minimal effect on actual policy. Obama and Clinton seemed to be in total lockstep with their congressional buddies.

G'evening S'21, RNo and Gavin, our constitutional Representative Republic certainly has been devolved into a Democrat 'Democracy' cesspool. Silly civics anyways, no wonder it's not taught in schools anymore...

Tho', S'21, you're correct Repub Presidents have minimal effect, I think the Dem Presidents are less in control than simply sell-outs to the ideology. What's the last Dem President you can think of that had their own ideas get them elected? My guess is the American Spirit that brought Liberty, Freedom and God-Given Rights as foundational to this country's success (yes, I know, there was no Repub party in 1776!) resides not a lick in Democrat politicians with many Republicans actually thinking beyond their party-line.

My very best regards guys! (WrH) [Now it's back to virtually rebuilding my home... unplanned but happenin' anyways!]

Hi, Wayne. Good to hear from you! Agree entirely. How many Western "leaders" can we say, hand on heart, "Hey, these guys are really rooting for their country and its people?" I can only think of two: Putin and Orban. Good luck with the house-building!

Hey S'21! That 'Power Corrupts, Absolute Power Corrupts, Absolutely' axiom seems to run deep, far and wide. A good friend I'm working with on my home 'Paint-Job come all-kinds-of-stuff-needing-fixed' asked me, very seriously, "What is it going to take to return to our Constitutional Roots?". Sadly, the 2nd amendment remains a rather unlikely option on it's own, I suggested. I think the real 'revolution' will likely come due to and via Financial rebellion. "Huh?" My reply was to ask why might the call for 80K ARMED IRS agents be? "Oh, good point". My suggestion to you is while I don't know the answer to his question, the fact that the question is raised with validity and in need of serious consideration speaks hugely. My private considerations, frankly, leave me heartbroken. Alas, we're here and have not surrendered, and I won't. However, my limited experience is heros tend to be so noted posthumously. Without F-16's and Nukes any kinetic activities will require preservation of individual troops, IMHO. Guerilla Warfare has been shown to smack the US Armed forces around some, after all... Blessing good sir! (WrH) Ps., Tomorrow being Saturday is, for the first time in my 4 years+ of retirement, that I'm actually glad its the weekend. My Contractor Friend is letting me have it off... - :^)
