For the leftists who have taken over our educational system and the leftists in our government, this is what it is all about. They want to replace parents, who may after all have "fringe, unacceptable ideas." Look at what the school board members are coming out with lately about how parents should have no say in how their children are educated. They think they own everyone's children. These people don't want just want ages 5-22, they want birth to death mind formation and control.
They think they own everyone's children because too many parents gladly turn over almost all of their parental duties to third parties, aka schools. Kindergarten, breakfast, after school programs etc. all are taxpayer paid babysitting. None of that existed in the Dallas public schools that I attended from 1969-1981, grades 1-12 was it, in my parents day there were 11 grades.

A hidden cost of the censorship is the loss of credibility and trust of the Internet Giants by the majority of the us public.
I believe a lot of people are getting red pilled by the constant propaganda and censorship, as it becomes more and more obvious, as the elites become more and more woke.

The first person to study the effect of Head Start and such programs was Dr Stanley Greenspan who was at NIH. He did the seminal studies and wrote and spoke about the noxious effect these programs had on democracy. You must read him. He was critical to debunking based on actual science to the whole HRC it takes a village garbage.
I seem to recall reading that the Big Govt folks did one study of Freat Society programs early on and quickly promulgated a rule that no studies must ever be done on any of these programs as they invariably expose the failure and waste.

It almost does not matter what they are taught and capable loving teachers are likely to do as much harm to a child's inner resistance.
Teaching your own children until 5th grade or so one can bake in the notion of obedience to parents (for now) and qualified obedience to outsiders.
