It’s preliminary, of course, but it’s good news. I picked this up from The Federalist:
Federal Judge Slaps Down Biden’s Vaxx Mandate For Contractors In Kentucky, Ohio and Tennessee
The judge in the case is a Dubya appointee, FWIW. The issue is stated succinctly in the order:
U.S. District Judge Gregory F. Van Tatenhove temporarily slapped President Joe Biden’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate down for federal contractors located in Kentucky, Ohio, and Tennessee.
Tatenhove said the question was not about the effectiveness of the jab nor if the government can compel people to do something but focused on whether Biden had the authority to require it of federal contractors.
“Can the president use congressionally delegated authority to manage the federal procurement of goods and services to impose vaccines on the employees of federal contractors and subcontractors? In all likelihood, the answer to that question is no. So, for the reasons that follow, the pending request for a preliminary injunction will be GRANTED,” Tatenhove wrote in his opinion.
Many readers will have already seen the news that firings of federal employees who refuse the injection have been put on hold. I’ve heard, but have no confirmation, that the impetus for that move may have come from the military—concerned about preparedness. The point is, however, that a delay of this sort gives the lie to claims that there is any sort of an emergency. The hold was not narrowly targeted.
ALSO: I highly recommend this article—linked below—from The Federalist, if you haven’t read it already. It follows on the news yesterday that Milwaukee Children’s Hospital is straining to care for the seven kids from the Waukesha terror attack who are still hospitalized—due to Covid mandated staffing shortages:
Biden’s Vaxx Ultimatums Leave Vulnerable Patients For Dead At Understaffed Rural Hospitals
Many rural hospitals are watching helplessly as they hemorrhage desperately-needed health care workers just because of their vaccination status.
In my personal life, today I received news of uninjected employees of a religious organization being fired. It’s just wicked. With all the news of mandates being stayed by courts, of Zhou backing down on his mandates—what kind of evil would lead a supposed religious leader to do this to hard working and minimally paid people?
If it is true that 10,000 Marines refused to bow to the virus God in DC, that's two divisions worth of personnel. While these reluctant Marines are across the corps spectrum, a loss of this magnitude would have a crippling impact on combat effectiveness. But with this administration combat effectiveness does not appear to be a concern...
Good choice of words, "supposed"
"what kind of evil would lead a supposed religious leader to do this to hard working and minimally paid people?"
The lack of Religious Virtue in large supposedly Christian Religious organizations blows my mind.
