I do wonder whether that is a signal to his base, which voted against perpetual war, that there continued support is appreciated. However, there are some good opinion pieces that seem to coalesce around the idea that the Left--faced with total exposure by Trump and the Barr/Durham investigations--is willing to deploy the Samson Option: Tear this house down, rather than tolerate another Trump victory.
