Fox has a brief story on the progress of the investigation into the leak of the Dobbs opinion, which overturned Roe v. Wade. Readers will recall that CJ Roberts appointed an internal committee headed by the Court’s marshall to head the investigation, but the investigation has been closely held. Progress has been rumored, but Gorsuch’s statement is the first public comment by a justice:

That’s exactly the way I react when I here someone up there is going to form a committee or open an investigation into something—-nothing ever happens but a lot of grandstanding, pontificating and preening. Followed up by the usual excuse, “Well, these kinds of things take time…..blah, blah, blah.” I would be willing to bet money if either their hides or their paychecks were at risk, that they’d damn well get it done in a heartbeat!!
If private industry worked the way DC does, we would all still be living in caves and hunting for food with a flint spear.
Justice Gorsuch, you’ll excuse me if I don’t hold my breath?
Dear SCOTUS: with illegitimate elections NOTHING ELSE MATTERS.
While they take on difficult issues and reconsider long time precedents they allow rogue bureaucrats and state courts to override the clear legislative intent of state election laws, resulting in the catastrophic installation of a regime bent on the destruction of the legal system, economic collapse, illegal immigration chaos, criminalization of political dissent, quashing of 1st, 2nd, 4th, 9th, and 10th amendment rights, destruction of the USD, medical tyranny, and promotion of demonic sexual and race deviancy (forgive me if I left anything out of this off-the-cuff list). Talk about missing their arses with a steam shovel's bucket.
Excellent, and to the point. Allowing Trump to have even two terms with all the prerogatives of a President may have caused problems for some, but nothing that a later administration couldn't fix. Now they have destroyed confidence in the system, thrown out the baby with the bath water, and created a situation where should Trump return there will be an upheaval in Washington that will shake it to its core. No wonder Barr and Biden and others are on the attack to prevent any day of reckoning.
