Briefly Noted: FBI And The Latest Twitter Files
Too many others have taken the Deep Dive into the Twitter File revelations for me to pretend to add anything specific. However, it may be worthwhile to point out a few big picture perspectives. CTH provides a lot of information in a post from last night—and illustrates one of the problems: There’s an awful lot of information to digest. And that’s an advantage that the Deep State uses as a weapon. By the time the truth is reached, it’s said to be old news that we’ve moved beyond; mistakes were made, but it was all about National Security—because that’s what the American Republic has become: an imperial National Security State. So, just a few quick points, mostly drawn from this TGP post:

The latest release also reveals that the FBI had 80 agents working “to identify alleged foreign influence and election tampering of all kinds.” And to target anyone questioning the 2020 election results.

The moment we’re in right now began in 2016. I’m gonna say that, in other words, it began with the Russia Hoax—or, in a larger sense, it began with the Deep State closing ranks to reject a president elected by the American people, a president such as Donald Trump.
The Russia Hoax failed, in the sense that Trump pulled off the greatest upset in US presidential electoral history—thrashing Hillary and the Deep State. But note what happened next. Beginning in 2016 the FBI—under the Trump administration and under Trump appointed AGs Session and Bluto Barr and FBI Director Wray—set up a “task force” focused on supposed “foreign influence and election tampering”. “Of all kinds”, so it was totally open-ended.
This was a bi-partisan attack on Trump. It was officially sanctioned and “swelled to 80 [FBI] agents”—left unstated is the number of DoJ attorneys as well as personnel at other Intel agencies associated with this “task force”. The predication for this activity is, of course, classified. Thus the FBI responded to these revelations in general terms:
“The FBI regularly engages with private sector entities to provide information specific to identified foreign malign influence actors’ subversive, undeclared, covert, or criminal activities. Private sector entities independently make decisions about what, if any, action they take on their platforms and for their customers after the FBI has notified them.”
Again, in other words: It’s up to you, our critics, to present details—we won’t be volunteering any and you’ll also have to demonstrate that Twitter was coerced. Your efforts will be contested in the courts at every step of the way. You will have to prove a negative: prove that the FBI was consciously aware that there were no “foreign malign influence actors” engaged in subversive activity.
Of course, the ludicrous Team Mueller attempts to document such activity through staged fake prosecutions of Russian nationals ended up falling on its face, so we have a pretty good idea that this was all nonsense. Nevertheless, this “task force” activity continued and even expanded under Bluto Barr. Because they were getting ready for Election 2020. In effect, this was all a continuation of the Russia Hoax:
As CTH points out, this is the same bogus National Security justification that the Zhou regime has used to justify the Mar-a-Lago raid. The worst of it is that to get anywhere in this struggle would require the SCOTUS, ultimately, to overrule long established precendents rooted in the Cold War mentality. That would mean getting the right cases in front of the Court to begin with. All a lengthy, time consuming, expensive process. It’s the American way, rule of law and all that jazz.
It’s all too secret to tell you anything. If you want to force us to disgorge the information, we’ll fight you every step of the way up to the SCOTUS. American justice at work. And, of course, the Covid Regime—also, be it noted, begun under Trump—fit right in with the over arching purpose of this Deep State information control regime.
No, I’m not blaming Trump. I’m pointing out that no one man can defeat the Deep State. Not with his entire administration weaponized against him. Chuck Schumer was right, after all.

Trump's whole program was reminiscent of that, too. Lucky for him he didn't get killed. Yet.

According to some reports, as many as 80 FBI agents may have been tasked to assist in the censorship efforts. Yet, the FBI has offered little more than a shrug in the face of credible constitutional concerns.
The FBI issued a statement that there is nothing to see here. It is notable for what it does not contain: any recognition of the gravity of the allegations or pledge to investigate whether this relationship crossed over to de facto government censorship.
The FBI responded to the Twitter release by explaining that it regularly alerts companies of "foreign malign influence actors’ subversive, undeclared, covert, or criminal activities." It is not clear if "subversive" satire led to the inclusion of "Fromma."
