I don’t know where this poll comes from, but it’s interesting from both an historic and civilizational standpoint. FWIW, here it is: As usual, American attitudes are all over the map—even though the US doesn’t appear on the map above. However, polling evidence seems to suggest that attitudes are shifting fairly rapidly, as the implications of what this all really means in practice become clear. Reflexive American sloppy libertarian thinking is bumping up against the real world. The first is Gallup, the second Harvard-Harris (via a fairly in-depth Breitbart article):
I just had an email questioning the close connect between seemingly disparate cultures: UK/Sweden v. Spain. Yet, it works the other way, too. Czechia is considered to be very secular, non-religious, yet it falls in line with much more traditionalist neighbors Poland and Hungary.
