Lori Windham, the hospital’s lawyer, was on the Glenn Beck program when the news of the government’s stand-down came in. She was very impressive and, looking her up, turns out she went to Harvard Law School from Abilene Christian, back in the days when admission was EXTREMELY selective (and merit-based) for those outside of the handful of feeder schools. Becket, as an organization, really gets results in court and its nonprofit-reporting (on website) indicates that they get bang for the bucks supporting them. The rare exception, it seems, in the DC thicket.

RTCs (Radical Traditional Catholics) at it again.

If we all just lit one little candle, what a bright world this would be.

Surely no FBI agent or FBI confidential human source would have reported this transgression...

Who at the HHS approved the use of tax payer money to attack a Catholic Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma? How much did this cost the taxpayers? The disgusting overreach of this pathetic administration is astonishing. And they want to raise the debt ceiling for this bs? We would be much better off if this government shut down.

This entire story is an outrage against the very basis of our founding, the freedom to practice one’s faith without penalty , without tyranny. I guess now that’s the whole point: to perpetrate the outrageous, just like the recent risible drone sent to make a dent on the Senate dome in Moscow: every event seems a cover for some “non-dit,” something unsaid. Thank the Lord for Mark and his fearless saying…I’ve always suspected that the “offensive” was one of these hot air balloons that would never get off the ground, but would serve to buy time until Nuland and co-conspirators figured out the ending to this sick charade…I’m full of dread…

What bothers me most is that the government threatened to strip a Catholic hospital of funding because of a well-protected, but, yes, unsupervised candle in their chapel. They knew this candle was not a safety hazard and they’d be forced to back off. However, in appearing to “give in” to the hospital’s appeal, the government agreed “to allow” the candle to remain.

To allow?

People of faith do not require our government’s permission to practice the well-established tradition of lighting candles. I sense an undermining of our First Amendment religious rights in this incident as a “testing the waters” to see what they can get away with.

Xiden’s administration will do this sort of thing again. Communists never stop until they get their way.

This was basically a perimeter probe and has become a hallmark of Bidens Marxist handlers. It is straight out of Alinsky's 'Rules for Radicals' - #8.

Awesome! Good news Friday. Sad it had to come to this, but it’s a win for the good guys, and we’ll take it.

It is good to see our government flame out when it comes to trying to control all aspects of our lives and religion. Those that would try such a dastardly stunt, however, will not just go away.

Ah, the Bangles, too, are pleased. (sorry-forgive my lame humor attempt. I truly do take Faith very seriously).

I do wonder if we who finance the US Government might ever awaken. What's the average cost by the hour for a Gov't attorney? Likely double civilian fees yet on and on things such as this debacle continue to arise.

Attacks on normalcy continue. Whether distractions or under some pretense of equity I pray this junk stops. Peace, friends. (WrH)
