A nefarious backstory to the US decline is the theory that Germany is attempting to muscle in on the global currency with future Euro bonds.

The Ukraine conflict may simply be a ruse to solidify the Euro pact with Russian fear mongering, certainly worked with Finland and Sweden joining Nato (future Euro military) and de facto Swiss support.

It’s interesting considering Timothy McVeigh’s handler was German and that Mohammed Atta was from a Hamburg al Qaida cell.

Death by a thousand cuts.

This is just the beginning of one of C&C’s best deep dives into current insanity, the LA riots:

“So what’s really going on? Let’s follow the money!

🔥 According to a recent New York Post story, one of the ‘LA protest’s’ leading organizers is an NGO called the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA). The story reported (while hat-tipping DataRepublican—go, girl!) that —get this— CHIRLA’s annual $34 million budget is nearly completely funded by … the State of California.”

Read on! It’s a terrific piece.

"If your homeland is a flaming trash pile worth fleeing, maybe don’t wave its flag like a tailgate banner while you riot to avoid going back. It sends mixed signals." Priceless!

It reminds me of P.J. O'Rourke writing years ago that whenever you went to a U.S. embassy in a third-world country you could find two lines of people: One line protesting the U.S. and another line waiting to get Visas to travel to the U.S. So what is it? If you like the third-world hell hole you came from better than you like the U.S. why not just go back where you came from?

Re the Euro: Bulgaria is about to adopt the currency against the wishes of Bulgarians. It has potential to bring about chaos. I can't find another link and this one is paywalled but the headline is pretty clear.

Very perceptive and of course one cannot help but see the parallels between the U.K. and the U.S.:

"But choosing instead to reverse decades of underinvestment, close regional gaps and reassert control over the direction of the economy would require a dramatic policy shift. It would require confronting the entrenched power of the City [Wall Street], building institutional capacity outside London [New York] and prioritizing long-term productive growth over short-term asset inflation."

I can't help but wonder what will happen in the years to come when the value of our assets is deflating, no one overseas wants to buy our government or commercial debt, our financial markets are de-leveraging, and our native industrial capacity has not yet ramped up to where it can make a difference in our trade deficits. Will our financialized, "service economy" be able to bridge the gap until our industrial capacity is reestablished?

Amazing to me that J6, which was one day, was an insurrection and a riot according to the Dems and legacy media, but sustained riots, cars burning, rock throwing, etc., are peaceful protests with a small element of violence, according to the same Dems and the legacy media.

Gov. Gavin Newsom was in his element this week. After scenes of burning cars and attacks on ICE personnel, Newsom declared that this was all “an illegal act, an immoral act, an unconstitutional act.” No, he was not speaking of the attacks on law enforcement or property. He was referring to President Donald Trump’s call to deploy the National Guard to protect federal officers.

I don’t know if the bond market is melting down but a 7% long yield when the deficit is 7% of GDP and Trump is breaking the supply chains for the second time isn’t far fetched. Is anyone watching the precious metals? Silver and Platinum have finally started to follow gold.

The money printing has to stop, but that would require fiscal discipline.

This has been a pretty disastrous 5 months for Trump and the US. Meanwhile, another front has opened up at home with the L.A. riots. It will be very interesting to see how Team Trump deals with that.

LA riots are interesting to compare and contrast with Trump 1.0’s response. The contrast between Portland’s Antifa vs Fed war.

Stuff:

1. Trump admin planned for this. The federalizing of the national guard, last time this happened was JFK in Mississippi with a desegregation in 62, 63 years ago.

https://jackcashill.substack.com/p/la-ice-riots-a-replay-of-ole-miss?

2. Newsom’s presidential ambitions are toast. The picture of the police (Chp) huddling under the overpass shows his impotence. The lapd and lasd were neutered and are way under strength. Super pc leadership is in place.

3. Trumps approval rating per Rasmussen are rising.

4. In Trump 1.0 The head of the fbi and doj slow walked prosecutions. Wray said antifa is a myth. The money behind the blm riots was ignored. Plus Milli symbolized the capture of the military. This seems different in Trump 2.0.

5. The iconic images of waving the Mexican flags with burning car's by rioters only helps Trump, and discredit the protesters.

6. The mass media has lost incredible credibility since 2020, and there has been incredible growth in non censored media, such as substack and twitter. The msm can no longer successfully lie and portray the riots as peaceful, they are trying.

My theory is the riots are very organized and the organizations behind them are vulnerability to discovery and prosecution, and this time there is the political will to do so. It’s a color revolution setup, and the same playbook was done in Trump 1. Jan 6 prosecutions moved the Overton window.

Thanks for the link, Ray. Jack Cashill is great. He's bravely carrying the torch to expose the injustice against Derek Chauvin and the other three MN policemen who are political martyrs for the egregious holocaust offered to the gods of political correction and DEI.

Spot on, Ray. From your moniker, I assume you are in the area. So far, this has indeed been a priceless propaganda gift for Trump. Every time Newsom and Bass open their mouths, the whole of America gets to see just how insane the Dems have become. However, so far, Trump has been very, very unwilling to go after the REAL Deep State actors here. I hope this time will be different and that he chases down to the ultimate degree those organising these riots. And why the heck is Mayorkas still free?

A neighbor of mine that works in downtown was told to work from home today.

LA City feels very third world in many areas. The amount of trash, homeless, homeless encampments, non working rv’s used for housing, and even fires at night on the streets are surreal. The only similar area I’ve seen like this is NYC. Even Mexico City and Tijuana are nicer.

We live in a Suburb about 25 miles from downtown, and I try to avoid going to LA.

My dad bought his first home in Santa Ana for $15K. He was a junior officer. I have an 8mm film of the neighborhood. Very modest homes but the area looked safe. I would bet it’s a no go zone now.

Southern CA has the nicest weather in the world. And who wants to live there like it is now?

This is what our politicians have stolen from us.

Santa Ana is gentrifying and is pretty nice. Not like LA. My guess is being in Orange County, verses LA County, they did not get a Soros District Attorney. Plus La county’s board of supervisors has gone pretty far left. My guess is your father’s house is now worth just under a million. They did get local rent control, a friend owns an apartment building there that has had major appreciation and she now drives a bmw.
