I've got the market cornered on American. Now if I can find an interesting American Spectator article to post.

American Spectator on maritime power.

Note, I post these as they address many of the topics that Mr. Wauck discusses. Some agree with him and others take a different angle.

One observation I've made, and I'm not the only one saying it, is that many of these same judges trampled over the constitutional rights of our citizens in the matter of J6 prosecution.

As to Boasberg and Xinis, it seems like they're posturing. "I'll huff and I'll puff and I'll blow your house down."

They need to be slapped down hard. They appear more like criminal activists than judges. This is the Ivy league in action. It's the old line Calvinist thinking that permeates the progressive mind set even though most insist they are secular.

The very thing that John Roberts wanted to avoid has come to pass, and with a vengeance, loss of public respect for the Judiciary. Every time the Trump administration does something meaningful, here comes some “judge” who decides to usurp the authority of the Executive Branch and impose their will on the American people! I’d say that it’s way passed time for the CJ to do something meaningful to put an end to this circus!!

While Roberts is waiting for the “process” to play out, public confidence in the integrity of the judicial system is hovering right there with public confidence in the mainstream press. Putting a stop to this legal travesty might not be the “procedural thing” to do, but it is damn sure the “right” thing to do as far as I’m concerned.

I find Roberts responsible for letting the left's Lawfare activity to mushroom by inaction and he's likely a covert supporter while playing a major role in this declining judicial respect as you point out. The pressure by the elites and their needs is truly compromising what's best for the country.

Cosmo: Count me in agreement with you about Roberts inaction aiding and abetting these rogue judges! Don’t see how he can continue down this path without risking some serious consequences both for himself, his precious judicial system’s image and the country at large. Very dangerous unless, as you suggest, he’s a closet supporter of these runaway judges.

I doubt Boasberg's intent is to really "prosecute" anyone with an appointed attorney but it would be fun to watch him and whoever is appointed try to do so. If I were Bondi, I would get Boasberg indicted for attempting to arrest any such targets.

I agree, as noted above these activist judges need to be slapped down hard. They are following ideology, not the law and should be run out of the judiciary as the feed the insanity that is the Progressive Democratic Party, a ship taking on water.

Whilst I am not as scholarly as many of your respondents may I refer each to this quotation from Franklin D. Roosevelt :

" We want a Supreme Court that will do justice under the Constitution - not over it . In our courts we we want a Government of laws and NOT of men " .

Few could have said it better .

Then the Maryland Senator flies to El Salvador to rescue the poor "Maryland Man" while ignoring at the State of the Union (!!!) the woman whose daughter was killed, a Maryland resident. These Dems are at the bottom of the barrel for any kind of ethics or caring.
