Don’t see how the regular American citizen sees this convoluted cloak-&-dagger contretemps as causa belli vis-a-vis Russia. If we wind up in World War III tomorrow they’re going to wake up & go “Huh? What?!!!!”
Russia and China will create the perception it's true, no matter the reality.
