Well the lead author to support this column, Blumenthal, is a documented anti Zionist (see Wikipedia). I expect a few more facts from him before believing all his assertions. Ackerman provided some explanation on twitter. Others documented the case of plagiarism or if your prefer something more innocuous, gross failure to attribute direct quotes documented by many others.
