Speaks for itself. Believing Catholics desperately need someone to formulate a clear understanding of what has happened to what the faithful believed was the Church of Christ. I suggest a good starting point can be found in the words of Athanasius, during the Arian crisis: They have the buildings, we have the faith! But that general formulation is only a beginning.
I think that the Biblical admonition that “ all those who hate me, love death” speaks to the situation with which we are faced today.
Many, especially Republican politicians, are loathe to label any group or philosophy evil, but that is precisely what we are dealing with in these people and their beliefs.
Vincenzo Paglia: more like a "wolf in shepard's clothing" phenomenon. Catholics are, once again, being lied to. Exposing these heretics just seems to embolden them.
Credenda, I don't have time to go into this in detail, but for your consideration I would say that being mistaken is not necessarily the same thing as being an apostate. Not knowing Vigano personally I don't know his views on this subject, but I very much doubt that he hates any Protestants per se. You shouldn't say things like that.
Can you provide me a citation to that speech? Words matter and I'd want to be sure what he meant. There are differing interpretations re nulla salus. I go with Paul's understanding.
I understand. Unfortunately "traditional" Catholics aren't always the best source. I have found that they often are influenced by Protestant style understandings of Scripture in a fundamentalist sort of way, just as traditional Protestants are usually influenced by Augustinian style theology that led to the Reformation crackup.
"May the faithful, admonished by good priests, move themselves far away from these wolves in sheep’s clothing and pray to the Lord asking him to intervene to save His Church, occupied by a Sanhedrin of corrupted and perverted men who continue to crucify Jesus Christ in His Mystical Body."
"I'm not Catholic--yet how did Paglia obtain his position?"
That's the question that Catholics have to address. Obviously Paglia isn't Catholic, either. Nor is the person who gave him his position, because the fact that Paglia isn't Catholic has long been notorious. Then again, the same goes for the person who appointed him, Sr. Bergoglio.

Vigano for Pope.
Amen! I'd make a campaign contribution, but I don't think it works like that.
I know, just thinking out loud.
Don't be too sure. If it works for canonizations ...
Thank you for posting this.
Taking it to the catacombs? Will the faithful end up hiding again from Bergolio's spiritual polio?
Archbishop Vigano is a wonderful example of real christianity in the world. May he remain safe.

It's a mess.
I have never heard him speak against Protestants. Can you provide some proof?

Feel free. We've had non-Catholics wearing clerical garb opining on things Catholic for a couple generations now. As long as you're informed.
