The British have certainly lived up to their Perfidious Albion monniker, particularly against Russia. Let’s see: the murder of Litvinenko using Pollonium-laced tea; the attempted murder of Skripal using Novichock nerve agent; the sanctions imposed as described in the article; the pre-SMO breaking of Minsk 1 and 2; the supply and targeting of storm shadow missiles and sea drones; the freezing of Russian reserves at Bank of England and stealing of interest due; the forced breakup of Peace Negotiations and the general insults and undiplomatic ad-hominem attacks on the Russian President by “diplomats”.

None of this has really worked and the UK Government finds itself in a dire financial situation and is crawling off to China (to whom it has not behaved quite as badly but simply terribly), to ask for help and financial support.

The British Empire is no longer a thing but the Foreign Office and senior politicians seem to think the can punch above their weight by being treacherous and sneaky. The world seems them for what they are: vassals of the USA, chihuahuas not bulldogs.

My view...

The First Gulf War was the height of US Power with the collapse of the Soviet Union after the end of the Cold War. After that the West used the so called peace dividend to focus on enriching the elites and the hubris the US was the only super power left. The result was Military's became less about fighting wars, and more about grift. That is why the US Army is basically fighting with the same equipment as used in the First Gulf War. M1 tanks are still being used. Military Industry complex has consolidated and is more focused on keeping the stock price high, than producing effective Military Equipment. Boeing's fall in civilian aerospace is a perfect illustration of this management.

At the same time the West has become incredibly rich. Allowing the West to indulge in incredible stupidity and make short sighted decisions, and allow manufacturing and other dirty industries to move outside the West. And the super rich have increased their influence. WEF future leaders has been incredibly effective, for example. Or the George Soros prosecutors. Along the way there has been a huge decrease in the West's birth rate. As people have focused more on short term pleasure and career, than the challenges of child bearing and raising.

At the same time, use of computers has allowed for amazing targeting of voters. And in the US, law fare has changed election rules to force a Democratic Majority (California, Colorado, Oregon, Washington). As in California, you can see the results.

There is also a trend of the use of control of the media, and social media, to control populations. Not to mention how this has created an incredible surveillance state since 9-11. At the same time, the Internet has allowed alternate voices to be heard that question the conventional narrative. Musk's purchase of Twitter was a huge break in the wall of censorship.

An example in a break in the Wall of Censorship on the LA Fires:

https://x.com/WallStreetApes/status/1878862411031351524

Social Media is destroying the narrative of climate change is responsible for the LA Fire, instead of incredible incompetence.

We will see what Trump does with the incredible mess. There are many powers that are thriving in the current status quo, that do not want change.

I work in renewable energy development, which has strong similarities to war, strategically.. Controlling strategic ground is at the heart of both. And supply lines are the make or break issue. You are competing for these against rivals. In the case of renewable energy, winning hearts and minds of the local populace is the other key.

Innovation is key. Good developers have new ideas. The second tier rivals can identify the new idea and try to utilize it themselves in future battles. But the good developers have come up with another innovation for the next battle.

It is a little like the American car manufacturers in the 1980s versus the Japanese. The Americans' idea of innovation was changing the headlights so that the car looked different. The Japanese had a new model every five years. By the time the new model hit the street, they already knew what they wanted to revise in the next generation.

Finally to my point: if the US military is like the US car manufacturers, they will get their clocks cleaned. And if they don't innovate like their rivals, they will also get their clocks cleaned.

So the Russians will fall for our attempt to trick them into believing that lifting sanctions of no effect is a Western concession? Who writes this drivel? Here’s something to consider. If the sanctions remain in place, soon the West will be sanctioning what was Ukraine, now under Russian control.

What a mouthful!!! PEOPLE! Apparently NOT animals, to the same degree, have the capability of being deceived, willfully or not, by their OWN, real or imagined, SELF Interest’s! How these, “EVOLVED”. HA HA creatures arrived

, at some conclusions, or decisions is spectacular to watch and a most fascinating puzzle to truly and accurately unravel! Reminds me of the phrase “ KNOWING THEIR HEARTS, in the Bible. JESUS , “KNOWING THEIR HEARTS”. Nuff said.
