Her most outrageous stunt as a prosecutor/AG in CA was the deal she made to protect the pedophile Catholic priests that destroyed lives. Her husband, Doug, worked for the law firm that represented the Catholic church.

Already it's beginning to be fun:

Willie Brown calls for KS to replace Zhou NOW:

https://freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/4253314/posts

Vice President Kamala Harris's ex-lover [sugar daddy, he paid her with a BMW and politcal backing] has a bright idea. Why wait for 2024? Kamala should be president – right now! Former San Francisco mayor and notorious playboy, Willie Brown, 90, who is 31 years Harris's senior and dated her in the 1990s, summoned local reporters for an impromptu news conference on Sunday. Speaking outside John's Grill, where he holds court with the city's political elite, just moments after President Joe Biden's surprise announcement that he'd suspended his campaign, Brown told journalists that the president shouldn't just cede the Democratic nomination to Kamala, but he should make her commander-in-chief immediately. '[Harris's]...

Swag:

Obama’s strategy is let Kamala Harris implode before the Democratic convention.

After she has shown she has no chance against Trump and is a horrible candidate, someone else will be chosen.

Somebody equally horrible, in my eyes. I know to them, all they care about is getting elected.

That's an interesting and very plausible scenario, Ray. That the sainted Obama has not endorsed her suggests he is playing power broker here. I'd love to see Obama push the party to his diktats and then implode further. He is the one who has generated the most divisive racial enmity of my lifetime. He has proven that racism, intolerance and hate is the fundamental platform and ideology of the Democrats not to mention a huge shove toward communism.

If they are going to jettison her, I would think the only card to play would be to bring in Big Mike since anyone else who is either/or white/male will further alienate a big portion of the base.

There was an interesting article on American Thinker suggesting that Joe in a last big fu to Barry and co. was to endorse her so they have a bigger headache that they were already expecting.

I don't think the results of this election matter to Obama anymore. What does matter is if he can disassociate himself from its results and position himself as the "rebuilder" of the party for 2028 and beyond.

Stores sell color changing LED light bulbs. Maybe the Dems need a color changing and gender changing candidate, ala Elizabeth Warren with her nationality.

Ah but we can’t forget the power of the Dems’ fraudulent voting racket. Speaking of anecdotes, I have some lefty friends who were all in for Zhou in 2020 but have been strangely silent — until yesterday when they posted a bunch of Kama Sutra fan posts on social media. The Dems will support their nominee, no matter how rigged the process is. Remember Bernie got shanked in 2016 & 2020.

Yeah, of course the dems will support the dem candidate, that’s all they know how to do. The deciding factor is if literally anyone else at all will support the dem candidate.

Eric Abbenante tweet quoting Van Jones (link to embedded video):

Democrats are already getting cold feet about Kamala Harris:

Van Jones: "Kamala Harris has not been a polling dynamo. It's not like she's the most popular human ever born. That weighs on people."

Good thing the presidential election isn't a popularity contest. Oh, wait.

Cass,

I did not mean you specifically as I find your commentary level-headed and in line with most of us who visit this blog. When there is disagreement you make persuasive arguments for your position. However, when you say, "He is right on Ukraine and defense spending, he is right on health/vaccines/FDA, he is right on immigation/the Southern border, he is right on the Bill of Rights. These are big issues!"

Yes, yes, they are, especially to those on the non-left. However, I just don't think he would stick to those positions if elected. The Democrat in him runs way to deep, he's less JFK and more Ted IMHO. The climate change rhetoric is so fundamentally wrong that I am unable to give him any sort of consideration as a viable candidate. In addition, his comments regarding Trump are typical Democrat rhetoric and regardless of my concerns with Trump the negative comments turn me off.

Cosmo and Cass, it's going to take more than one election and more than one politician to right this nation. It's going to take God.

I'm not holding my breath that we're at the nadir. Too many countrymen are still digging furiously towards the bottom.
