Casual plane geek here. I've got 2 programs that I use to watch air traffic; both are set to only observe military or government registered planes. Since the beginning of the SMO, I've been watching & even kept notes for a few months to see if I could establish patterns & players.

The RQ Global Hawk & the Poseidon P-8A are regularly in the Black Sea, in those same flight patterns on the diagram. Its not unusual for one Poseidon to be relieved by another if they're keeping the drone up for 12 hours or more. That's been the norm for a long time. If they're up to something, you'll see extra air assets, like that RC-135 Rivet Joint, also in the air for several days. Just as on the diagram. Often they will have several helicopters in the air too, usually Apaches, along the coast of Romania. When there have been sabotage attacks in the Moscow/St Petersburg area, you'll see the same kind of traffic in the Baltic Sea with one of the P-8A's stationed in Iceland & usually a RC-135 Rivet Joint flying from Poland to Estonia.

Thanks.

I'm currently watching the video. Colonel Davis is very interesting but it'd be nice if he would allow his guests to speak. He keeps doing all the talking.
