Steps to comment:

1. Subscribe to this Substack (there are choices to do so. Make them.)

2. Register with Substack with your own account.

3. Your “screen name” will be automatically appended, but the owner of the stack should be able to see your pegged email to the screen name.

Mark should remember my tag from another blog he used to haunt in ages past.

But might not.

We have mutual friends.

I receive the articles in my gmail account. At the bottom of the article there are the buttons to "like, comment, or share". When I click on the comment button, it takes me to the substack webpage/comments section. There's an acknowledgement that I'm signed is as xxx@gmail.com and I can leave a comment.

If you're not going to substack under a registered account, you might try that ...... with google or whatever account you use.

I think the only requirement is to be signed onto Substack as a member or user,

have a decent browser,

click on the comment box,

and type away.
