It’s not totally clear what happened, although the usual suspects—UK media outlets—are jumping to conclusions. I offer no opinion. Here’s a collection of tweets while we await more reliable information:
S300s are air defense missiles. If it's an air defense missile that landed in Poland, then it was a Ukrainian missile that failed to detonate when it failed intercept.

The fragment piece of the missile that fell in #Przewodów (on the left) appears to be a match with an #S300 missile (on the right).

⚡️⚡️UNCONFIRMED:
In Poland: Two stray rockets fell in the village of Przewodów in the Lubelskie Voivodeship near the border with Ukraine. They hit grain dryers. Two people were killed. There are police, prosecutor's office and army on site.
The two "Russian rockets" That came in Poland, I'm pretty sure are Ukrainian air defense projectiles, 65 KM difference with the original destination, is more than a bit odd looking at the accuracy of the Russian weaponry. But anyways "Russia did it" 🤷🏻♂️
In this next tweet the English is simply a translation of the Polish in the quoted tweet:
Radio Zet reporter: My sources in the services say that what hit Przewowo is most likely the remains of a rocket shot down by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Air defense artillery is prone to error and mishap. I seem to recall we shot down a British Tornado fighter during one of the Gulf Wars. The invasion of Sicily in 1943 saw the worst friendly fire incident in US military history, when naval gunners opened fire on transport planes bringing in the 82nd Airborne. I believe there were three or four digits worth of dead paratroopers out of that one.
Since there's a lot of overlap between what the Russians and the Ukrainians use, I take no position on who did this, but I'm sure it was unintentional. The obvious conclusion is that it would be a really good idea to end the war. At least no one died. This time.
EDIT: Ok, so two died. Well, it could have been worse, and if this keeps up eventually it will be.
Of course this was inevitable... Let's get the grain dryer back up and running so this Holiday's seasons Pierogi's can be enjoyed.
