Stephen Breyer will retire from the SCOTUS after the current term—so, early summer, June or July. Zhou promised from his basement in 2020 that he would nominate a black or African American woman if a vacancy occurred. The generally perceived front runner, given that commitment and the relevant qualification, is usually narrowed down to Ketanji Brown Jackson.
Here’s my suggestion. Why not make any nomination—whether of Jackson or any other nominee—about our borders? I was greatly struck by this Tucker segment, and it seems to me that a SCOTUS nominee should be grilled on the numerous legal and constitutional issues that are raised:
