The big political story from yesterday had to be the release of a recording of a strategizing meeting among top Hispanic Dem politicians in LA. Specifically, the group included City Council President Nury Martinez, Councilmembers Kevin de León and Gil Cedillo, and Los Angeles County Federation of Labor President Ron Herrera. So, heavy hitters. They were getting together to discuss redistricting issues. Specifically, they wanted to do something about the statistically accurate fact that Blacks, from an ethnic-demographic standpoint, are heavily over represented on the City Council. They wanted to work out a way to get more Hispanics on board.

Spot on! Politicians, and specifically left wing politicians are masters at blaming others for their failures and it is innate in leftists to snitch on others for their own benefit. The made up term Hispanic is another reason why LatinX is only catching on with the sociopaths of the Marxist left and rejected by decent Spanish speaking human beings.
That's the interesting thing about the designation Hispanic for all human beings from dominantly Spanish speaking countries. We don't normally designate everyone from dominantly English speaking countries as Anglos.
That's correct however; the left has made the hyphenated ethnicity common-place to indicate your racial/ethnic/country of origin identity before the citizenship of the country you purport to belong to. Why? Prime example is African-American. The A-A has gone from Negro, to colored person to black to African-American and now People of color. Isn't POC the same as colored person?
Those California values. Florida got a taste of them with the electric vehicles (EV) during and after Hurricane Ian. Can't wait to see California deploying its electric firetrucks, ambulances, and EMT vehicles after their next major earthquake.
