There’s a lot going on here, both on the global geopolitical scene as well as in internal US politics and policy making. It may help to start by looking at what came before this development, the Houthi strike on central Israel with a ballistic missile that evaded not only Israel’s defenses but also US/French shipboard defenses. Bear in mind, the US shipboard systems are probably the best we have.
What came before—beyond the nearly year long Israeli genocide on Palestinians—was the July 31 Haniyeh assassination in Teheran. Iran vowed revenge—a vow it has repeated at intervals. In response the Anglo-Zionists rushed a huge portion of available US military resources to the region. And has kept them there ever since. Well, until it pulled one of the carrier strike groups (CSG) this past week. That was after the DoD informed Israel that we couldn’t keep this up forever. Duh! The expense, not to mention the toll on personnel and equipment, and the impact on US ability to respond anywhere else is simply unbearable for such a length of time. DoD knew that, but the Anglo-Zionists who control the Department of State, the White House, and the Intel Community didn’t get the angst that was felt at DoD. Instead, they were busy threatening Russia with Deep Strikes.
This morning Alexander Mercouris, while noting that Iran—fully aware of all this—had simply waited the US out, also argued—as I have in the past—that this massive US buildup looked like US preparations to participate with Israel in an attack on Iran. Hold that thought.
Something had to give, and it did. Early in the week Lloyd Austin pointedly stated that the US stands ready to provide Ukraine with what it needs to defend itself. I take that to mean that Austin does not stand ready to provide Ukraine with offensive weapons capable of deep strikes into Russia. That was in sharp distinction to the leaks that Blinken and the Brits (and their Canadia appendage) were putting out, and later in the week the Germans, the Poles, and the French made it unambiguously clear that they were not on board for war with Russia—no matter what the Anglo-Zionists and Scandis wanted. (Re Scandi craziness, by the way, check this out). Next came the US withdrawal of a CSG from the Persian Gulf. That, in the overall context, must have been at the insistence of DoD. Finally—following Putin’s common sense observation that, if the Anglo-Zionists enabled deep missile strikes into Russia, Russia would regard that as confirmation that the US/UK were in a state of war with Russia and Russia would respond accordingly—the US held a pow wow with the Brits in DC and announced, to the great displeasure of the Anglo-Zionists, that deep strikes were off the table. With the face saving proviso “for now.”
In Putin Faces Down The Anglo-Zionists I argued that this looked very much like a palace rebellion on the part of DoD. The generals had finally had enough of the Anglo-Zionists endangerment of, well, the entire world for the sake of the Anglo-Zionist project. That view was seconded by Ray McGovern and thirded by Alexander Mercouris. I want to recommend just the first few minutes of this The Duran video, in which Mercouris describes the “stony faced” and “angry” Americans facing down the creepy Starmer and Blinken. Like me, McGovern and Mercouris are convinced that this could only have happened at the absolute demand of DoD. To strengthen that argument, Tom Luongo reminds us today that Zhou has been a Neocon Hawk for his entire sentient career.
Something dramatic had to have happened. I will go ahead and speculate that it could have gone this far: The goys at DoD told the Anglo-Zionist war machine that they were no longer going to take orders that they disagreed with without first having a face-to-face with the CinC. Yep, that’s speculation, but to me it all fits.
That was Friday. Sunday morning the Houthis struck. Netanyahu, of course, is threatening revenge—”Remember Hodeida! We can do it again!” There’s a big problem there. The Houthis can do it again too, and in a much bigger way—unless you think they only had one missile. I wouldn’t bet on that. DoD knows that, of course, and they also have to be concerned that both the Houthis and Hezbollah—not just Iran—may have some very capable anti-ship missiles up their sleeves (we already know they have ballistic missiles). Well, Putin warned us that he might start sharing those sorts of weapons around the world. Moreover, the stuff Putin has to use in response to those “deep strikes” is exponentially more potent than that Houthi missile.
Here’s something else that DoD must be acutely aware of:
Anyone who ever played RISK knows North America is the most geographically defensible continent on Earth. No one will attempt to conquer the US.
On the other hand, the US Empire lacks the capacity to project decisive power far beyond its borders against a near-peer.
Russia, the Middle East, China. The days when the US could credibly threaten war on any of those regions, if it ever existed, is far in the past. Doug Macgregor gets that—including about China, but also Russia and the Middle East. The other day I was listening to John Mearsheimer stumbling around trying to explain to a clearly skeptical Judge Nap why it made any sense at all for the US to try to dominate East Asia by taking China down a peg or more. He maintained that the US has a much stronger navy than China. Well, the big difference is that neither China nor Russia has any intention of sailing to the opposite side of the world to conquer North America. They’ve apparently played RISK and figured out that they’re better off just having defensive forces. It’s just the Anglo-Zionists that want to conquer the world—because unless they can credibly make that threat Israel as a Jewish Supremacist state cannot endure. And the days of world domination by one power are now past. This week is a sign of that.
Doug Macgregor gets it:

Houthis fired a hypersonic missile into the Centre of Tel Aviv yesterday - evading Saudi and Israeli AD (obviously).
The missile covered 1,300 Miles in less than 12 min.
These are ground/air-based hypersonics - approaching Mach 9.
There is no defense against this attack - none. Then, the Russians reportedly also have space based MIRV multiple independent reentry rocket payload mounted on hypersonic glide vehicles (HGV) hitting speeds of Mach 25. (Avangard Platform)
Meanwhile, President wants to waste more money on the old force structure when we should scrap much of it and begin fielding a new force.
At this point the DOD is the DMV (department of military vehicles) They are great at moving hardware and Personnel around but not at much else.
They remain stuck in the WW2/Cold War paradigm. It’s time to retrench and build for the future.
Ending the conflicts in Ukraine and the ME is vital for the US and our friends.
Next question—how does this impact the US presidential election?
They can always escalate though, everything would burn.
Pay attention to what Eric Schmidt says regarding future $ and warfare…he represents the Globalist part of the emerging DIGITAL paradigm.
